Melissa goes into hiding

The truck burst into flames and Melissa shivered for the first time in her life. At that moment, her phone rang and Aiden's harsh voice came from the other end.

"What were you thinking? Have you lost your mind? Why did you not follow us and stop abruptly in the middle of the road? It's a good thing I noticed that truck on time and ordered my men to shoot the driver. Or else do you even understand what would have happened? We are changing the location for your hideout." Aiden screamed on the call that made Melissa move the phone away from her.

"Ok!" Melissa said relaxedly.

She thought, 'Am I not alive and kicking now? Why is he overreacting? It is not like that truck hit me and I bought a ticket to the hell.'

"Take two right turns and drive the car into the forest. We will switch from there." Aiden gave her the instructions and reached the place before she did.
