I MET MY ELIJAH

Chapter 8

I heard some weird noise through my window. When I moved the flower pot in my window, I saw Elijah was standing, but he was so small, more like a small cup. My eyes went wide. I think maybe this is also a Madison trick. So I ignored it again. I heard a voice as I looked at him.

"Tina, this is me, Elijah.. You silly girl, this is not your hallucination, it’s me, Elijah". He said.

"What did you call me?" I asked him as he sighed.

"Tina," he yelled, as tears flowed from my eyes.

"How the hell? What Happened? " I asked him as he said,

"I don’t know, I don’t remember anything at all". As I took him in my hand,

"Did you eat something?" I asked him as his face became sad.

"I haven’t eaten anything for two straight days." He pouted sadly.

"Wait, it’s already been two days?" I asked him as he nodded sadly.

"I’m hungry, babe," he pouted.

"I’m sorry, wait here. I will grab something for you. " I said and turned to go, but I had hesitation about leaving him alone.

"Elijah, come here". I took him and put him in my jacket pocket.

"Babe, what are you doing?" He asked me

"I don’t want to leave you alone at all. So stay here. " I said and walked out of the room.

"So, babe, you are going to take me even when you are bathing." He asked me while peeking out of my pocket.

"Yes, I will, but I will tie your eyes." I said as he pouted. I went to the kitchen and grabbed the cake. But when I went to cut a piece of cake, I stopped.

"What are you waiting for, Tina?" Elijah asked me.

"Nothing, let’s go out for dinner." I said and placed that cake where it was before.

"But why?" Elijah asked me.

"I don’t trust anything from my house." I said as we went out and ate some food and reached my home.

"Elijah, How did you become like this? " I asked him as he looked at me confusingly.

"I don’t know, Tina, when I opened my eyes I was like this and all this time I was with you. I tried to shout, yet it seemed like you didn’t hear me. So I waited for the perfect time.. then I saw stars moving. I don’t know how, but you also watched that, and I got your attention. Thank God". He said and smiled at me like a child. Whenever I saw him smiling like this, my heart would melt. I smiled at him genuinely,

"I love you, Elijah. No matter what, I will never leave you alone. " I said and kissed him on the head.

"I love you too, Tina, but it’s a pity. Now I can’t kiss you. " He said,

"But I can," I said as I pecked his head... He looked so worried. "Elijah, it's not impossible to get you back in a normal state. So don’t worry. "I'll start working on it tomorrow, but for now, I'll sleep soundly." I said as he slept well, but I can’t sleep when he is in this situation. So, I decided to go to Madison’s room to see if I could get something to cure him.

I opened Madison's room door and found Madison sleeping peacefully... I wanted to kill her at any point, but I controlled myself because I had to cure Elijah. So I started to search her room. I found something in her cupboard glittering. When I went to touch that,

"What are you doing in my room? Valentina". I was shocked. I turned back and it was Madison.

"Just searching, if I can get something to get my Elijah back." I said while giving her a death stare.

"Oh, Honey... Do you dare come to my room to find your filthy lover? Aren't you afraid I will kill him?" She asked me

I laughed sarcastically, "Well, nowadays, no one has any sense... Whom are you calling filthy? You are filthy, and you look disgusting. Do you forget how you became my father’s wife? " I asked her and raised my eyebrows.

"Valentina, don’t forget Elijah is still in my hands." She said as I ignored her and walked out of the room. In the morning, I was woken up by the sound of a door knocking, so I went to open it. It was my dad. As soon as I opened the door, he slapped me.

I looked at him furiously. "Why the hell?" Before I could shout, he started to shout. "How dare you call your mother filthy?" He asked me as I smiled sarcastically. Well, I never called my mother filthy. What are you talking about, dad? " I asked him with a smile.

Again, he slapped me as my lips started to bleed because he slapped me hard. I smiled again. "I wonder how many days or years you will continue to live in this hallucination. My mother died a long time ago.. dad". I said with a small sad smile.

"If you are going to disrespect Madison, get out of my house." He said.

"I too want that, but it’s a pity to remind you that you guys are living in my mother’s home and I inherited my mother’s home." I said savagely.

"You-you are not my daughter." He said,

"Oh, it turns out you are not my dad. Then why are you waiting here? Get out. " I said, as he shouted in anger. I watched him like nothing happened.

"Valentina, go and apologise to your father." Madison said.

"Bitch, mind your business, Didn't he say, I wasn't his daughter?" I said this as I slammed my bedroom door in her face.

As soon as I returned to my room, Elijah hugged my finger. "I’m sorry Tina, I couldn’t stand by your side today." He said, I can say that he is worried about me. I couldn’t control my tears in front of him. So I started to cry. I wiped my tears with my hand.
