Chapter one "mysterious shadow"

One breezy night, the smell of the night cold breeze surpasses my body, with a full moon, sitting on the roof, my friend Tamako, sits beside me gently.

"so, this is what you do every night?" he asked handing me a cup of herb water, "yes" was the only word that came out my mouth.

"I cant argue with that" he said un bothered, "the smell of the breeze takes me away" he said softly, his voice was always soothing.

"thats true" I said without thinking of anything else, Tamako gentle stands up, holding his hand out to me, and ofcourse, I took it gently.

"want to have a walk?" he said, his eyes were soft, he looked at me soothingly, we went down the roof and walked through the yard with fireflies around us.

"beautiful isnt it?" he said calmly, i just, nodded.

When the moon was facing us, at the corner of my eye, i saw something, or, someone, a dark sahdow lurking around the woods, i didnt bother to tell tamako, maybe it was just a mistake, maybe it was just the fireflies.

But then again, I wasnt mistaking it anymore, i heard the sound of metal scratching the trees, or a blade being taken out by a swordsman.

I rather not look at the sight, that dark shadow keeps me from being calm, Tamako holds my hand tightly, "are you alright?" he asked.

"ye-yes" I stuttered, Tamako looks unsure, he grabs my hand leading me inside the house, staying with me until daybreak, I slept didnt know what to do if I did react we'd get in trouble.
