FIFTEEN

I was with Rose in her room and she seemed distracted by her phone. Everytime she got a message, she smiled and payed no attention to what I was saying.

She then put the phone down and went to the bathroom.

I let out my inner cat and checked her messages, she had been talking with Ruby, about me?

Just then she yelled,"Aha! I knew you were jealous!"

I looked at her and asked what was going on. She said,"I have been testing you, ever since that day you came into my room and met Dylan, a friend of mine. I told him to dress like that and run away and I have been acting weird to see if you were still jealous, and surprise, surprise, you still don't trust me."

"What?! Why would you play me like that?!"

"Because you never change! You get angry every time you see me with another guy even when I told you I could take care of myself."

"So you tricked me? Rose, you never change! You used to be tricking me into your devious schemes and you're still doing it, do you know how you made me feel? Of course you didn't, because you're always on the prosecutor's side and you're now bringing Ruby into this?!"

"Yes! And of course I know how you felt, because I'm that much smarter than you!"

I looked at her then chuckled then said,"So that's it?"

I took my bag and walked out, not listening to her apologies.

She left several messages and voicemails for me but I never answered and eventually blocked her.

I was in my class one day when all the boys started looking at the door and drooling. I looked too and saw Rose. I just got up and wanted to leave but she blocked my way.

"Tommy, just listen...I'm sorry for what I said and how I acted."

I tried to push past her but Ruby and Mack also came there.

I looked at her and said,"Always manipulating people to do your dirty work."

She said,"Fine, if you want me to beg then I'll do it."

She got on her knees and I looked away, I couldn't see her doing that. I was angry at myself for still liking her.

Just then, a guy from the class said,"Hey beautiful, I'll date you if you want."

"Back off she's mine!"I blurted out.

When I realized what I had said, I gave up and said,"I'm sorry for being so jealous Rose. I'll try my best to stop...but I can't make any promises."

She shrugged her shoulders and said,"Good enough for me."

We hugged.

The whole class said,"Awww."

It's just, the girls thought it was cute, the boys were bummed out.

A few days later...

I walked past the first car and when I saw the second one I said,"This is the one."

"Are you sure?"Lucy asked,"Don't you want to check the others?"

"No, no, I love this one, please?"I said, doing my puppy dog eyes.

She obliged but said,"It will still need some customizing to do the tricks I taught you."

"I can do it, with your help of course."

She shrugged her shoulders.

I drove my new sports car to the mansion and felt cool in it. I didn't have a driver's license yet and was years away from getting one but I bothered Lucy till she agreed to buy me the car of my dreams.

Mr Nelson held his baby in his hands as he watched Lucille and me listen to Lucy's belly for kicks, he said to himself,"If my baby lost his mother, yours will lose its mother as well..."

I walked into the parking lot where the next target was...the one who poisoned Lucille. She looked at me and I said,"I don't fight women so if you cooperate, no harm will befall you."

She just threw a punch at my face but I pushed her arm in the wrong direction with my hand then gripped it.

She threw another punch and I caught that fist then front flipped over her.

Her arms hurt at her back and I kicked her back and let go.

She stumbled two steps froward and turned then pulled out a seven inch long pen knife.

Oh so you break weapon wielding laws too, eh?

She swiped it and I backed off so she missed. She swiped again but I ducked and pushed her belly.

She held her stomach in pain then attacked again. I caught her hand with the knife and spun her, holding her neck with her own arm, then I removed my belt and wrapped it around her wrist, then I did it to the other and hooked the belt and walked away, she was surprised and asked,"Don't you need me to confess or something?"

I said,"I just needed a DNA sample, you were the one who tased Mark when Mr Nelson was torturing him and poisoned my niece, that's enough to put you behind bars for a long time."

Then I walked away.

Days turned to weeks and weeks turned to months, then one night, I was sleeping when Lucy screamed.

I rushed to her room and she said,"I think the baby's coming."
