Gaining Experience

Each one of us went to their class to attend the lecture , and today's lecture is about magic spells and it's effects on the environment and how to avoid greater damages caused by uncontrollable spells or losing control over it . Quite a long name for a lecture but it's important to people who don't know how to control their mana and spells .

However the lecture ended after three hours as it contained too many things . Anyway after that there were another two lectures before lunch break and after they had finished I and Lilith went to have lunch together at our usual place in the garden .

" So Levi is in a different class than ours huh , no surprising as I didn't notice her in the class before however I also noticed that there is an empty desk in our class , where are students who supposed to be there ? "

" Oh you mean Mira and Akio ? They are out of academy for a special mission , they are the captain and vice captain of paranormal department after all "

" What mission you are talking about ?! "

" You didn't know ? Oh of course you didn't as it was supposed to be secret , however I will tell you so listen carefully "

" Well the mission was about an investigation about a unique phenomenon appeared at Rech Town . The specialists said that they didn't know the cause of it as it has many different causes and there is a no evidence that can explain the cause so they are confused about but they believe that after further investigations they would know the cause but they didn't want to go to the investigation so - "

" So they requested the academy to send special team from there to do the investigation instead of them huh . "

" You are right . At first the principal wanted to send a team of teachers that can do the investigation but Mira told the principal that she would the investigation instead , the news wasn't secret so she knew about the investigation, however , the principal first rejected her request and told her that it's dangerous but you know Mira is a stubborn person and she won't back down if she saw something dangerous that can threaten people's lives exist so she insisted and he accepted in the end "

" And you know Mira as the captain of the paranormal dpet she take on herself the responsibility to solve somethings like that and Akio support her as she can't let her alone or she will get herself into something dangerous "

" That's troublesome in its own way "

" Haaaah yeah I agree with in that "

They finished their lunch and went to continue their classes . After that Alex told Lilith if she wanted to live with him in the mansion or not as he doesn't like the lecherous looks that the male students are giving to Lilith every time she go to her dorm . Lilith didn't hesitate and accepted his offer as she liked the atmosphere there as it was calm and relaxing , the best environment for a scholar to do his researches . Alex prepared everything for her to move to his mansion and also took the premission of the principal for that who didn't say anything and accept right away .

After all things done Alex went out of the capital to go to the beasts forest as he wanted to gain some experience in fighting monsters and also ease his boredom .

Reaching the forest Alex went inside while holding a sword in his left hand as he was left-handed in his past life . Walking in steady pace Alex notice a pack of black wolves eating together in front of him . So he want and hid behind the bushes and started watching them carefully, as he after all wants to get experience so it doesn't mean that he is op that he can defeat anyone in the his world , great power without control becomes  useless and make you like a kid in front of an adult .

Alex was using [ God's Eye ] to know their weaknesses and strengths so he can beat them with the least possible effort .

After confirming that he built his plan on how he will attack them and decided to attack the leader of pack first as he represents their core and without core they will fall one by one .

Alex focused on the largest black among the pack who was watching them eating , his black fur was black like night and his golden eyes was piercing and focused on its surroundings ready for any fight . Alex noticed that and didn't dash recklessly like some idiot protagonists. He used [ Illusion Magic ] to create an illusion that they wanted to sleep as they were full , he didn't apply that on the leader as he wanted to fight him by himself .

Suddenly all pack of wolves fell on ground like a doll cut from its strings . The leader of the pack noticed the the abnormality and became high-tension and began looking around carefully looking for the enemy who attacked his pack . Then from the corner of his eyes he noticed  a sharp edge coming at him aming at his neck , he responded quickly and moved from its place and looked at at the attacker to see a handsome young man with piercing violet eyes looking at him while holding a sword .

Grrrrr...

The leader growled at Alex as if the telling him that he is a dead meat , then he charged at him with high speed and attacked him with sharp claws .

Clang !

Alex blocked the attack with his sword then he moved around the wolf and slashed his sword at him hoping to kill him but unfortunately the leader wasn't a leader for show , he was fast and strong and flexible so he twisted its body and bit the sword with his sharp teeth . The leader seemed like he smiled evilly at Alex while holding the word between his strong jaws then he attacked Alex's shoulder leaving at deep cut on it , making a stream of blood falling from his wound .

" Agh ! That's hurt "

Alex left the sword in the wolf mouth and decided to attack him with his magic .

[ Fire Bullet ]

Then several fire bullets appeared behind Alex then waved his hand and the bullets charged at high speed at the wolf.

Groooooowl !

Boooom !

The bullets hit the wolf harming him and leaving deep wounds making the wolf growled from pain and let the sword from his mouth. Taking the chance Alex dash forward with incredible sleep and took the sword from the ground and increased his speed again toward the wolf who was still in pain .

[ One Time Slash ]

Sheeeeng!

Swooooosh !

Alex suddenly appeared behind the wolf and sheathe the sword again in its sheath.

Thud !

The wolf body fell in the ground in two halves as Alex only did one slash with it cut the wolf into two with his speed that was incredible.

" That was one , let's kill the rest and continue"

Alex killed the rest of the pack and continued deep into the forest killing any monster in his way . At the beginning he was unused to fighting the monsters but after some trial and error he understood how monsters fight and how to fight them , his experience began to rise with every encounter.

Alex now was standing in front of a cave taking a rest as he fought without rest at all , he knew that there is a dangerous monster in the cave and that was evident with the huge aura coming from it .

" The next one will be the last and the toughest "

Rumble! Rumble!

Suddenly Alex felt the ground shaking and heard a sound of large footsteps coming from the cave as if the entity that is coming out is running .

ROOOOOOOOOOOAR!

He heard a roar coming from the cave and it was coming closer and close. And finally the entity showed itself , and it was a pale blue western dragon with celestial blue scales .

Alex looked at it and only one worked came it his mind ....

' I'm fucked up ! '
