Evolution!!

---

It was a cold and beautiful morning, with the wind whistling in our ears, the sun brightening up the paths, mobs waking from their nice slumber, and flowers blooming by the gully with stunning waters and by the awning flank of the mountains.

The morning glory flower wakes each morning and opens its blossom to greet the world. As the day reaches its end and the sun sets, the flower slowly curls up and takes its rest; it has bloomed.

"Morning is an important time of day because how you spend your morning can often tell you what kind of day you are going to have." "Every morning is a beautiful morning." "I like my tea hot and my mornings bright." "When I wake up every morning, I bless the new day."

I was admiring everything in the sound of the shiny-splashing waterfall right at the seat of the valley.

I gazed at the daylight; it shone into my eyes, and I held up my hand to block it. "What a beautiful..."

"Anon!!" Angel shouted.

"Oh, Angel, isn't it a fine and lovely day?" I turned to my sides to notice Angel was not within my sight.

"Angel, Angel!! Where are..." *BAAM* It all slowed down... I fell into a presumed dead state...

A blackout...

"Wake up, sleepyhead," she said.

Tiredly and softly, I opened my eyes from the blackout to see Angel outfitted in a silk-like short nightgown.

It was just a dream... but the sunrise still looked exquisite.

"Hey, good morning, Angel."

"Get up fast; we have to get to the shop before buyers come and can't find us there."

I looked out the window and saw that everywhere was getting busy; oh, I had slept in excessively. "Angel, get ready while cleaning up, and when you're done, I will get ready too."

"Customers don't deserve to be kept waiting, so I will be going. I will hurry so you can get ready fast too, and there's no need to tidy up; I did that while you were asleep."

"Oh, thanks."

She went out of my room to the bathroom to have a bath while I brushed my teeth and waited for her; she got done and ready, and I also did.

We got dressed, headed to the shop, and greeted some neighbors on the footpath.

We went in and set up our apothecary for the day.

[...]**THE GELON APOTHECARY**[...]

Oh... you must be wondering, how did it get to this... let me take you on a brief journey into the past.

---

Almost nineteen months ago, to be precise, Angel and I escaped from Teresa's clutches and made it out safe and sound. We found ourselves lost in the woods.

Our grimoires were still intact and safe, so we took them and began a journey to an unknown destination. We could have cast a spell like Angel's location spell, but she was too exhausted to cast it, which would have rendered the spell weak.

Unfortunately, we stumbled upon a small local village where the people didn't take kindly to outcasts. Instead of welcoming us or trying to understand why we had arrived, they attempted to exile us. For them, exile meant victimization, torment, and even burning. It seemed that someone, perhaps a foreigner, had wronged them in the past, and they viewed all outcasts with suspicion.

"We were just passing by, we didn't do anything," Angel cried out in protest as they bound us.

But the villagers were convinced that we were followers of Hiroshi, and they were determined to eliminate us. It was only when a farmer intervened, recounting how he had found us unconscious in the bushes and overheard our conversation about being attacked by Teresa, that the villagers realized their mistake.

They released us and took us in as their own. Of course, it didn't go as easily as I narrate; this is just a short summary.

We lived a joyous life with them. They even gave us an abandoned building to call home, and we quickly adapted to village life. We became adventurers.

However, our adventures were not over. We continued to explore and gather herbs, eventually reaching rank C as adventurers. During our adventures, we collected a plethora of items, some of which we used to start an apothecary. We worked at a local shop to gain experience and save money until we could afford to open our own establishment.

After retiring from adventuring, we fulfilled our dream and opened **The Gelon Apothecary**. With the support of the villagers, our business flourished, and we found happiness in our new venture.
