"He is your...he is your...father, your dad sweetie."

"What? I thought you said he was gone forever and that we could never see him again."

"Well I thought that too but life is crazy and this week is proof." I pulled her in for a hug hoping that I didn't put in too much emotional trauma for her. "I'm sorry for not saying I know I said no secrets but what do you think of this and of him?"

"At first sad and annoyed but...I kinda wanna meet him. All of my friends at school have dad's and I wanna know what that's like. Is it ok if I get to know him?"

"Of course honey I just have to speak with him first." Which might just end up going terribly and break her heart.

"Thank you but from now on no more lying ok?"

"Ok and that's a promise." I gave her a kiss on her head and took her to bed. After that I went to my room and began texting Luciano to tell him the details of the coffee then I fell asleep.

The Next Day

I didn't have work today and was waiting for Luciano to show up now. I was of course feeling very nervous, I mean what if he doesn't want kids and I just ruin things for me and him and also my daughter. I really hope he shows up.

"Hi, again." I heard a deep voice saying. I looked up and saw Luciano, he sat down on the empty chair, "Can I get an explanation now?"

"Yes, I am so sorry that you had to find out this way but that girl...she's your daughter."

"I kinda guessed, she looks like a mini me and also you got weird when I mentioned kids. I just wanna know why you didn't just straight up tell me."

"So, after you left, I realized that I was actually pregnant and I connected the dots. I decided to keep her as a little reminder of you but also because I needed someone else to keep me going."

"She is really cute, I wanna meet her."

"That's actually what I wanted to talk to you about. She wanted to meet you, after her little tantrum, she calmed down and told me that."

"She is very loud when she cries but ok sure, I can come over for dinner to get to know her."

"Ok I'm fine with that. She's seven now by the way."

"Damn she's growing up fast, I can't believe I missed 7 years of her life."

"That was my fault, I think I also hurt her by not bringing you into the picture, she was crying yesterday because she doesn't want me dating because if feels like I'm betraying her dad. I know you're her dad but she didn't know that yet."

"Aw that's actually pretty sweet."

"Not for me I've met some very attractive people in the past."

"Probably not as attractive as me though."

"True. Also her full name is Adrianna Amara Rosa."

"Amara?"

"Yeah in honor of Amara being such a good friend to me. I would have named her something after you but too painful at the time."

"That is still a beautiful name." He caressed my hand.

"T-Thank you. I was thinking that we could head to the dinner now?" He nodded and we left.
