Crash
A few minutes later we're both fully dressed, Kelly's brushed her hair and mostly stopped blushing, and I only have to adjust myself in my pants once. I'm on the phone to Merv, who's not happy because I'm laying into him about not leaving us alone.
"Is there a new threat?" I ask for the third time.
"No, but—"
"The whole point of coming here, Merv, is to be able to live without you guys hanging over my shoulder."
"Sure, but that doesn't mean we ignore you, Crash. Even here we need to keep track of you both."
We go back and forth several times until I've had enough. Kelly's disappeared back down the hallway and I'm praying she's got plans for moving this show to bed. I have to get off this fucking phone.
