Preperations for Battle

Rune and his party, along with Serac, were preparing to depart for the council meeting. Mako was not present, nor was he certain she would participate. However, there was a possibility that she would be a part of the operation. Depending on the scale, the council may see fit to include the noble houses, but he would have to wait and see.

The Crimson Bulls had little to do in terms of preparation. Due to the restrictions of the limited zone, they had left their weapons back at their base, and their armor was swapped out for swimsuits and other aquatic wear. They could have been ready to depart at any time, and so it was swift work for everyone to gather at the entrance.

The maids were lined up neatly, with Serac giving some last-minute instructions to Neria. It was then that a young boy came running up with a box cradled in his arms. It was Reef, and he called out to Rune as he ran up to him.

"Rune!!"
