Day 5: climax
Slumped against the far side of the arena, Maria coughed violently after slamming into the wall. She had tried to block the destructive arrow that Fleur created but it ended up shattering her axe and slammed into her body. She grimaced, feeling that some of her ribs were broken.
*cough* *cough*
"What did she even do?"
She had never seen a spell like that before. She was climbing back onto her feet when someone called out to her. There was a hint it teasing mockery laced in the speakers voice..
"Sheesh, you look like a mess. Let your guard down, did you?" Gallow said. He had a sly grin as he glanced over at his battered partner. The metal armor that protected her midsection was shatter and her dress was completely ripped up.
