Battle for the Sea

There was something strange about the water scales that covered Rune's body. Rienn could tell that the amount of water contained in each one was vast. One his arms was similarly made of a vast amount of water. Rienn's theory was that these new traits combined with her own spells would be the key to victory.

[Rune, follow my lead!]

Rienn began channeling a massive amount of mana and Rune synchronized with her as he continued to clash with Seiya's Dragon Turtles. Despite now knowing what she was trying to accomplish, all the steps that were necessary for Rune to take were clear in his mind. They were a single symbiotic life in their fused state and there was not necessarily a need for them to know everything about each other. What was most important was cooperation. Each of their minds could take control at any point and so Rune let Rienn lead for the time being over their combined mana pool.
