Chapter Forty One: The Gang's all Here

Nick, Jonah and Mazakin sat in awkward silence staring at Lucifer who looked truly amused by their discomfort. He tapped his finger tips together and lightly swished his foot around, bouncing sporadically off his knee. It must have only been a few minutes but it felt like they experienced the true meaning of eternity while they sat there waiting for some invisible servant demon to bring Ahpunch in.

All eyes except Lucifer’s turned anxiously towards the door when it opened and Ahpunch stumbled inside. Without turning around to look at him, Lucifer smiled.

“Come on in, Ahpunch, take a seat with your … friends.”

Ahpunch looked around, examining the situation before hesitantly taking a seat on the couch squeezed between Nick and the couch corner.
