Peace Rocks!

Not long after his victory, class started. The first period started with English language, everyone was fluent with English language so it was an easy class.

What the teacher taught however were uncommon English that one would not get to hear around. Ethics of language and honorifics, as easy as those may sound, it was a disturbing topic to learn.

It sort of made English a more complicated language than it looked. And that was even if one was paying rapt attention to what was being taught.

Vincent was a very good listener. If anything, the teachers commended him for how attentive he is in class… it also reflected in his exams and tests. He had never failed. Although he was still very unsatisfied with the fact that he couldn't be the first thanks to that guy. He was still sort of the best in the class.

Maybe if he had been taller earlier than now the class would have noticed. Or maybe now they will…

But he was so out of focus today, all that the teacher was teaching seemed to be playing like a background music in his ears. His eyes were staring out of the window, very distant.

'I won'

The overwhelming feeling of victory shrouded him like an invisible cloak. It was written all over him, even as he thought over and over again. He couldn't erase the thoughts in his head.

The three bullies who would come around every morning, give him a few beating, collect his books so he wouldn't write in class or make him do their assignment.

They were piles of shit that he hated, not that they had that much authorities to begin with but since they roll together with the main bullies of the school, mobsters of some sort, rumored to be in one of the notable street gangs around.

With that influence of hanging around them, these three would leech off the authority, harassing their fellow mates and making them do things for them.

They were the worst and he really defeated those guys.

A smile curved up his face yet again.

Then his face got besmirched by a chalk, drawing his attention to the lady in front.

"If you love it outside so damn much then do you want to go there?" The teacher hissed.

"I'm sorry ma'am"

Vincent apologized respectfully and tried his best to pay attention for the rest of the class.

For the first time since he started school, things went peacefully. There was no bullying even during lunch break. The only probably he had to deal with was fatty following him around, his eyes shining brightly like they had found hope.

Vincent on the other hand didn't want any friend, he didn't appreciate that this… guy was following him. Another event was during lunch break, the blonde haired guy who had talked to him earlier today in class also came.

Sharing a few words like how was he able to withstand fighting against them and what the hell was that punch? Where did he learn it?

Vincent ignored but the guy was persistent, eventually he had to lie that he learnt it on TV.

He didn't even have a TV.

The rest of the day went peacefully like that and was quite enjoyable. Also, this was all because he decided to stand up for himself.

No… this was because of Blue.

If the system had not entered his life then nothing would have happened. He would have come to school today and had to suffer the same bullying again.

But everything about him had changed with just a single event.

Vincent sighed as the bells rang for the final closing of the school. He packed his book into his cross bag and stood up, strolling to the staff quarters a floor before to get his measurement taken.

Hopefully, he will get his uniform before the week runs out. He was getting awfully tired of standing out in the crowd.

"Hey Vinnie"

The porcelain lady greeted him as he reached the entry of her office. He bowed and entered.

Removing her glasses, she smiled at him and gestured for him to sit down. Vincent obeyed silently, cautiously looking around the lady's office.

Every homeroom teacher had an office to themselves, of course, there was a general staff room where all teachers also had a seat in.

Apart from that there were personal offices for each.

Vincent waited in silence for the elegant lady to do what she was doing. After a few minutes, she paused what she was writing and closed the book. Her monolid eyes shifted to the pale boy in front of her.

"Oh my, I was going to say it earlier but you grew taller? Or is it my eyes."

Vincent sheepishly bowed his head.

"I don't know, it happened all of a sudden. Puberty maybe?"

'Seriously bro you couldn't find a better excuse? Puberty?'

Whenever he was before her, Vincent felt like his senses were in aqueous state. She was also the only person that gets to call him Vinnie, it was a very nice pet name that he didn't mind.

He didn't even mind being her pet at this point.

His eyes had caught her ever since the first day he entered this school. She was a neat lady, not just in manner of dressing, talking about her white skin… flawlessly smooth.

She didn't always wear any makeup, yet she was so pretty, her lips were small and round. Everytime she talked it was like they were begging to be kissed.

She was also a very kind lady, she knew how to control her class and was also the same person that had besmirched him with a chalk earlier.

She was fluent in three languages, English, French and Spanish which made her amazing. To top it all, the really cool male teachers are always hovering around her but she had never been with anyone– rumors says that she's single.

'...what am I even thinking about'

Single or not, it isn't like he's going to get a shot at her.

Vincent cleared the thoughts off his head and focused on the reason why he came here. The lady stood up, her curves carving out sensually as she did, she took the tape rule and gestured with her expression for Vincent to stand up.

He did so immediately and stood straight, his breath seizing and throat drying up as the lady took a really close measurement of him. In a few minutes he was done. But those few minutes were a very long few minutes of self discipline and endurance.

After he was done, Vincent bowed respectfully to her and left her office.

He glared down as he walked home, looking at the rewards he had gotten from the morning after defeating the leader of the trio bullies.

Immediately he stepped out of the building, the three of them appeared in front of him.

The guy in the middle was with a bruised face and plastered nose. He was gritting his teeth and glaring at Vincent.

Immediately Vincent saw then coming, he raised his head and deliberately put on a stern expression.

They reached him and the one in the middle spoke, raising his chin gutfully.

"You crazy boy. You are done for today."

"What?" Vincent responded arrogantly, a deep frown on his face.

"Follow us, Ferdinand wants to see you."

At the mention of the name a wave of fear hit Vincent that it was visible in his face for a moment. The guys could see it and their expression became a little bit cockier than a second ago.

"You think you can hit me and get away with it. Well, guess who's going to receive the beating of his life today. You bitch!"

Vincent's frown became a pale expression of frustration. He was thinking of running away before but the moment he saw the panel pop up, he knew he had to dead that idea.

But, he had received some really cool cards from earlier... things were going to be okay, right?

'Shit...' he couldn't tell.
