I want to get stronger, whatever it takes, however it takes, I want to be stronger, I want to have my vengeance and leave that bastard at the mercy of my fist" Oh fuck I'm so angry. Accept The King of Mereung's offer and become his student for one month]

Quest reward: you will gain free 'Oh, here's my coffee' Everyday for the next one month (note that this is aside the skill use itself), you'll gain +2 normal card, unlock chained Quest.

Quest failure: loss of two random cards.

Vincent inspected the panel carefully, as usual, Blu's narration caught him off-guard.

'What did he mean 'fuck I'm angry' Blu must have a bad personality… and bad anger control.'

Or maybe the system had an even amazing anger control seeing that it did not despite the fact that he was getting his ass handed to him on a platter of beatings.

Vincent shook his head and summoned the panel for the side Quest.

[You have received a new side quest]

Quest title: The Armies Are Rising.

Description: [Eight people have found hope in you. There is a spark burning in their eyes, and it needs to be ignited, you need to carry to torch of power and hope and show these ones that they can be more. However, a trial exists for each and everyone one of them.

Quest Reward: With every trial passed you will gain a normal card. When all trials have been successfully completed, you will gain +1 Unique card, and unlock system feature: Crew Growth and gain +8 rare crew cards.

Quest Failure: If all eight trials are unsuccessful, you will lose the system.

"Fucking shit!"

Vincent couldn't help the cuss when he saw the quest failure section. He wasn't expecting that part at all.

While reading through from the description, he was already thinking of how much of a hassle it is going to be and since it's a side quest, he would just brush it aside and focus on what to do about the main quest.

But the quest failure was crazy… he will lose the system?

'By system, did it mean I will lose Blu?'

Vincent was immediately thrown into a state of turmoil. This was a very dangerous quest to have been given, in fact the most difficult so far.

No wonder why the reward was a unique card.

Even the reward for taking down King was an epic card, a unique card was a rank higher than an epic one. Which definitely cemented the fact that this quest was going to be harder than taking down Daniel.

'How hard can it be…?' Vincent wondered.

What mattered were the information of the trials. Each person has to pass their trial and when all eight is successfully passed, his unique card would come in effortlessly.

If all eight fail however, that was the end for him. It spelled doom, end of the road, back to the life of a loser.

The thought scared him, made his bloods freeze with chills. He had not even started his journey with the system and now he was at the risk of losing it?

Vincent's eyes glimmered with determination.

"No, that will not happen… I must make sure that all eight of them passes their trial."

He didn't know what the system was up to, he just had to do this regardless. Anyhow, anyway, he had to see it through for all eight of them.

Vincent fell his eyes to see more of the description.

[Trials will be updated when certain conditions are met]

Vincent sighed and slumped to his bed, his stomach grumbled immediately he did causing him to prop himself back up with the same immediate-ness.

"Food time I guess."

With little to no money left, Vincent had no choice but to cook for himself today.

Over night and even as his legs took delicate steps in the premises of Mereung high school and the morning sun washed the entire scenery in a warm orange glow, Vincent couldn't help but think otherwise.

He lowered his head, his eyes drifted unfocused to the ground and his steps toted almost intuitively.

'What am I supposed to do… Blu has said it's part but it did not make it compulsory for me to accept. As far as, free will is concerned, I can decide to turn down the quest. I just must be willing to bear with the consequences.'

He paused and raised his eyes for the first time since entering into the school, the imagery of the fancy building for the high school first year glided into his vision. But he stared unceremoniously, a sullen expression creeping up his countenance.

'The side quest on the contrary…'

Vincent made a pause and looked to his side just as a balsamic scent seeped into his nose. It was as if it was beckoning onto him.

It wasn't just him. Heads turn to the point that hoisted the scent in all direction.

Glossy black hair ignorantly fluttered with the gentle wind. Straight cut bangs that drew a flawless straight line cover her forehead, slightly stopping atop her sharp eagle eyes.

Anyone she shot her gaze to cowered with chills. But shockingly, a particular person did not…

As her eyes slide towards Vincent's, a tensed pause came in between the two. Vincent who was caught off guard by the soothing smell, widened his eyes, mouth gaping.

Her eyes suddenly narrowed and glared at him with disdain. Making him feel like someone just stabbed him directly through his gut.

She ignored him and proudly continued her walk to the class.

Students who were also walking along the same way saw what happened, even though it was for a few seconds, they all saw how it happened.

"Hey hey, did you know the Ice queen before from somewhere?"

A blond haired familiar guy came, tapping Vincent on his shoulders like they were friends.

Vincent frown slightly, answering:

"No…"

That was the answer he gave, but he was not mistaken about it. That girl he just met is the chicken chicken girl!

'She looked different though… I don't know how to put it… she looked rich?'

"Oh man… you seriously didn't know her. Damn! I've been trying to get with her but she just goes ahead and ignore everyone, hence earning her the name ice queen."

Vincent sneered at the blond hair disrespectfully.

'I guess life goes easy for you rich folks.'

He exhaled and walked away without paying more attention to it. He had much more on his plate than to care about a girl he met at some local restaurant.

He did have to admit that it'd be a little work forgetting the beauty he saw in her eyes but thinking about his homeroom teacher should fix that problem.

He had more bigger problem to work against. Today… he has to give Daniel an answer.
