Meeting with Isabella's father [3]
"Hahaha... I didn't expect the young man who saved my daughter to be so strong."
Seated at a small but very elegant table were Erik, Emma, Isabella, and Isabella Reynard's father.
As for Gareth, why wasn't he seated? Well, as a gentleman it would be very disrespectful for him to sit at the same table as the gentleman he serves, and he stood behind him without saying a word.
"By the way young man, what is your name?"
"My name is Leon" Erik lied matter-of-factly. He had no intention of giving his real name to this man.
Since they sat down, he had been complimenting him at every turn getting to the point of being annoying, and it was too obvious that he wanted something or was going to ask for some favor.
