War Of gods

Kur tried looking for Cara but he couldn't trace her anywhere, Chuk helped in the search but to no positive result. The apartment was so messy that Kur couldn't spend another minute there. He tried calling Tamra his assistant, to ask about her whereabouts but she wasn't responding, so he had to pack some stuff he could gather with the help of Chuk. They moved into a little apartment because they knew it would be unsafe and unwise to show themselves to the public, not after the incidence that just took place. Getting an apartment was easy since Chuk, who had survived in the street, was ready to help.

Tamra was scared to return to her boss, she even had to change phone when she saw he couldn't stop calling. King Kahlan wasn't pleased knowing that he lost some capable men, but the most of all was that Kur was caught, he had never gone into war with someone and lost and wasn't ready to let Kur be the first. He travelled to many Kingdoms to seek the knowledge of many Wizards and Witches, In the process of travelling he was able to encounter god, the most powerful human. He told god of his request and what he intended to do, god who was a King without a Kingdom was the most famous and powerful man alive because of his superiority and the good he had done. Kahlan ignorant of the person god was, told him of his intention of killing Kur, "….That's the mean reason I want you to teach me some of your spells, am ready to do whatever it takes just to acquire these power you possess" King Kahlan said. god took some minutes to access everything King Kahlan had just said, King Kahlan has never been so humble the way he was in the presence of god, well it's true what people about a Lion, it bows down and takes cover whenever it sees prey and pushes attacked when the time is right. King Kahlan was a like Lion, he behaved so humbly knowing what his true intentions were. After some moments there was a reply from god, "Your request is a very strong one, you want to be like me, are you sure you did your research about me very well? Do you know who you're standing with?" god asked started on his throne. The words of god brought out a sense of shame in the face of King Kahlan because he had never been made to stand for far too long. He had never begged for something before, and the most annoying part of it all was that he wasn't alone, some other Kings that he had killed their father in past wars and others he had gone into war were present at the occasion. god, a man of peace could not grant King Kahlan his desire but instead, he spoke some words of peace to him, he advised King Kahlan not to go to war with Kur, but King Kahlan's mind was already made up, he needed the most powerful wizard to teach him the magic he wanted to learn from Kur before they both got into an argument.

King Kahlan left the palace of god generally known as heaven, on his way out something got his attention, he saw a door and it was tag 'Unsettled Souls', he kept on looking at the door till it was out of sight. This was the second time someone would walk out on god, Rahl the demon, his brother was the first to have walked out on him like that. Till the incident of King Kahlan, a very rude king that took after his father or even worse.

Tamra stayed alone in the apartment she collected for herself, she couldn't return to Rahl to give him the update she always did. Rahl waited for days, from days to weeks, but there wasn't any response from Kur and Tamra. Ignorant Kur thought King Kahlan must have picked up Tamra and kept her captive. Kur prepared for a fight with King Kahlan and Chuk was ready to help, but King Kahlan prepared for a war. He arranged a whole army, both Wizards and Witches, Advisers and a lot was set just for a man. The news of King Kahlan's arrangement got to god, he wasn't pleased with the news neither was he surprised. Rahl was tired of sitting back and waiting for Kur and Tamra's report, tracking Kur wasn't a problem because he was connected to all his messengers, so it would be easy to find both Kur and Tamra. Tamra was aware of this fact, that was the main reason she hid herself but Kur wasn't.

Chuk wasn't a famous personality in Hartland, he stayed in the street all his life at Hartland so it was easy for him to move around the city of Hartland. He monitored King Kahlan's movements and every plan he had. Kur on the other hand kept on strategising how he was going to free Tamra and Cara. One faithful morning, King Kahlan and his wise men were going for their daily weekends practice and Chuk was on the trail, he followed them to a silent path, but the shocking fact about the place was not because the place was hidden, but because they held a lot of people captive there, and the place was heavily guarded. "What's going on here? What is the King doing with so many prisoners?". He hid in a corner and continued watching the King and his Men. They made use of the people to practise a spell meant for only Demons, The Spell was rare and it couldn't be found in all Demons, only a few are gifted with such an ability. But greedy King Kahlan wanted to learn all the magic in the universe, regardless of the cost.

He possessed a little girl's body and made her dance around the place, later on, she was stripped of her clothes but the girl wasn't conscious of herself, Chuk continued watching from the spot where he hid himself. Only a few People can survive that spell, after the possessor has left the body, its liking the soul also escapes in that process making the body of the person useless. So King Kahlan needed a lot of bodies to keep practising till perfection.

Chuk knew if King Kahlan could master that spell then he and Kur stand no chance against King Kahlan. Chuk left the place, but something happened along the path in the forest, Kur saw a bag moving, at first he thought it was a snake trapped inside the bag, but when he went closer to observe the bag he saw the length of the object inside the bag was bigger than a snake. The thought of leaving was there but his anxiousness got the better of him, he looked for a long stick and he stood far and made use of the stick to remove the bag from the object, to his surprise he saw a leg of a person, immediately he rushed to help the person. The lady was one of the lucky individuals to have survived King Kahlan's test on them. She ran into the woods and fortunately for her she fell into a big where the bag covered her, she stayed there for two days without food or water. Chuk carried her to their place half-dead regardless of what Kur's reaction might be. "Are you insane? why we you carry a half-dead person to our hideout, what if it was a trap?" Chuk didn't bother replying to Kur because Kur was the master and he was ready for whatever attitude Kur threw at him. "You better don't play deaf", Kur said as he held Chuk who was about to get a tower for the lady, "Those these look like a play to you, she must have survived what King Kahlan is training for" Chuk answered harshly, he forced his hand away from Kur. "What do you mean?, What is King Kahlan doing?" Kur looked interested forgetting he was dealing with the presence of the strange lady. Chuk explained everything he saw to Kur, although Kur did not know too much about the spell he knew from the way Chuk explained then it must be a deadly spell. Chuk also used the opportunity to explain how he came about the strange lady trapped in the pit.

"So, she hasn't said anything to you, not even her name". Chuk nodded in agreement. Kur began to help out treating the sick lady, and in no time she recovered. "… what's your name, we never got to ask," Chuk asked, "My name is Jenifer, Jeni for short", Chuk cooked up a fake smile on his face which was kind of noticeable, "why the smile" Jenifer asked,

"Nothing, just that the name sounds odd"

"How odd, I think the name is cool and it suits me" She replied waving out the insult part in Chuk's statement,

"Only grannies bear that name these days" Chuk replied with a big laughter.

The two had a great talk and they got to know each other well.
