Ch 15: Getting involved

Sigehelm attacks Xalroz again when he is getting close to him. Throwing the left fist aiming to strike at the rib cage of Xalroz's right side.

"Aiming for the ribs is what you plan," Xalroz said just about turning sideways on the opposite side to avoid it.

When that fists miss the target, he goes for his counterattack. By having the elbow from the left arm smash into Sigehelm's face, the force behind it was held back to at least do the maximum damage of the nose bone breaking during the time.

Sigehelm let it be known how much the pain level was crying loudly as his voice could go.

Xalroz wasn't done with him just yet, seeing that there was an opening to keep on attacking. That is when he sends in just a simple punch till things get a quick turn when Sigehelm does a surprise move in charging forward and grabbing Xalroz's body pushing to bring him onto his back to the ground.

"I got you now! Time to make you pay." Sigehelm says where he began to throw his hits to Xalroz's face. Three were the ones to hurt him.

It was then that Xalroz decided that would be enough for this human. Catching the fourth one and having the other hand grabbed onto the neck where he forced Sigehelm's head down.

Xalroz does a headbutt as each head meets together, and both receive equal pain from it. When it happens, Sigehelm falls backward and gets off him as that was the chance to get back up with the.

"I handed that to you. You got me good that time, I made the careless mistake of thinking there was no chance of you getting a hit on me."

"Fuck you." That was the only response to come out of Sigehelm being furious to say anything more at the time.

"Sigehelm and Thorkell! That's enough of the both of you.'' At the time Lorthr the man shows up before those two can get back into their fight.

Not alone as Afast the other son with him where it looks like he was the one to have brought their father here to stop the fight. "Father, there is no reason for you to get in the middle of this, it is only for me and the elf to settle a matter this way," Sigehelm said to his father.

"By the gods, I don't give a shit, you two are going to end the fight here and now or I will be the one you both will have to fight. Let me be clear, I'm far more experienced compared to the two of you."

Lorthr let them know as that truth had been battle after battle that in his life had taken part of. Those two at the time just stand in their place making not a move where the man sees that it is a good sign.

"That's better your mother wouldn't love to see you both fighting anyway, so let's move on and quit before she gets any news of this. First Thorkell I would like for you to get back that girl. I saw her running in that direction looking to be trying to escape right about now. Do what you can to get that one back here alive."

"Very well father, I will do that." Xalroz agrees to it as he does have an interest in her leaving right away to find the girl and have a little chat.

"Sigelehm comes on, let's get your face cleaned up."

[Random direction in the woods]

"No! Get away from me." The slave girl that ran away didn't last long without encountering trouble when running into that pack of wolves she had come to meet.

*glows* the sound these wolves make getting close inch by inch as the girl found herself to be pinned against them.

She sees the look in their eyes and the bits of drool coming off the sides of their mouth onto the ground. These creatures were very much interested in her body to feast upon it.

"W-what am I to do, I'm going to be eaten by wolves here." she was scared for her life as the meeting of death was near.

"Done wolves the girl is not for eating, she is still useful." a familiar voice is heard when it is the same elf showing up just in time to stand in front of the wolves.

"It's you." The girl was shocked and yet happy at the same time to see this person saving her again.

"Yeah it's me now, shut up busy at the moment," Xalroz tells her while facing the wolf pack. *Glows* that they respond to him seeming to have forgotten about him the other night.

"Don't act that way, you should remember me as your friend and master, I don't want to have to take such extreme action to make it so."

Xalroz takes a step toward the pack of wolves showing no fear and the energy of a dark vibe coming off from his body that humans behind can feel a bit of it as well.

"What are you doing?" the girl asked, feeling a little worried about the elf walking towards these creatures. She wonders if he is crazy in the head in doing this, but something stranger started to happen. The wolves were changing their behavior towards him.

At first, they look to be scared of him but just in the second, the wolves come to him friendly like pets happy to greet their owner.

"How did you do that," she asked while keeping close to the tree behind her still just looking not moving.

"I feed them and let the wolves see that I'm more of a friend than an enemy," Xalroz explains as he pats their heads where they love.

"So would that mean it is safe to move?" she asked.

"That depends on you, are you planning to keep on running if I say yes."

"What do you mean?" She played confused, but it was too weak to make him believe it. So he stops paying attention to the wolves and turns attention to her now walking close enough that they come to be at face level.

"Do you want to die?"
