CHAPTER THREE.

After dealing with one of Ray's men, we waited for nightfall so we could dump his half-dead body within his pack's territory without getting noticed by anyone.

With my hoodie on, I looked at the packhouse that was a little bit far away and saw that the lights were on, there was merriment going on and I gnashed my teeth in pain.

" Have fun while you can. " I said in between my teeth and we left. On our way back, Cherry bought some homemade chicken and insisted to give them to Aunt Magdalene so she wouldn't worry about having to prepare dinner that would take thirty minutes to be ready or so, a wonderful reason it was.

We all sat at the dining table in expectant of the meal that would be served before us.

" You are drooling. " Jay pointed out and I quickly wiped my mouth while the rest chuckled at my reaction.

" No, am not. It's called salivating. " I defended myself.

" Whatever it is called, you have saliva still making its way out of your mouth. " I groaned in frustration as I squeezed the napkin beside me and threw it at him but he perfectly dodged it.

" Come on Jay, don't make fun of her. " Aunt Magdalene said.

" Thank you for supporting me once. " I replied, smiling.

" That is because she drools at any food I cook that is about to be served. " They all burst into laughter while my smile vanished completely.

" Thank you for supporting me never. " I retorted and continued eating my food.

We finished eating in less than twenty minutes and washed our plates. Aunt Magdalene sets off to put little Diana to sleep while the rest of us sat down to discuss our next move.

" Do you think he told us the truth? " Jay asked.

" Yeah, I think so. " Cherry answered.

" Even if he didn't spill the whole beans, he told us the important aspects that we need and we are going to use that to our advantage. " I said and they agreed with me. I continued, " He runs an underground illegal sex house and uses girls as his sex workers, I think that was why one of his men foolishly followed you. " I pointed out.

" That's right though I need a thorough bath. " She dusted imaginary dirt off her body.

" But we don't have a packhouse. What I mean is that we are this little. How can we overcome Ray? We are not recognized in the werewolf world any longer. How can we know his strategies? How can we get the evidence of his inappropriate behavior and make him suffer in one of the two worlds we live in? " Perry asked but before I could answer, Aunt Mag chirped in.

" You hunt him and set a trap. "

" As for how? " Jay asked with a confused look.

" This means we await his downfall. Ray has many enemies from the other Alpha to his pack members who he has chased away and now have become rogues. We will use all these to our advantage but before then let's seek the help of one of the Alphas, he might know one or two things about him. Jay and I will go for that mission while the rest of you try to persuade the rogues to come together as one. " I spoke.

" So, we are having a group of rogues? " Perry asked.

" Yes. " I answered.

" I think that would be all. I am so tired right now. " Perry yawned.

" Yes, of course, good night. See you in school tomorrow. "

" Yeah yeah, whatever. "

They stood up one after the other and left for their room.

" I will be on my way as well Aunt Magdalene. " I stood up.

" Before you leave, I need to discuss with you. " She pulled me back.

" Alright Aunt. "

" My dear, I have been a motherly figure for you all so I know some things about your life. Among all your friends, you are the only one without a mate so I just want to know if you are yet to meet him or you just rejected him. "

I smiled at her words.

" If I rejected him, I would not have been stable as I am now. I am yet to meet him but you don't know how desperate I hope to see him, Aunt. "

" If you do meet him, will you tell him about your plans? "

" Yes, I will. Secrets are not meant to be kept from one's mate. "

" What if he doesn't support it? "

I thought for a while before responding.

" He would have to support it for my sake. "
