Everyone was left grim after hearing Sasha's testimony.
"It's natural, I guess."
Kashi called out, and then he stepped forward, adding,
"But the real question that arises is whether the assassin killed him by using dark magic. And I'm sure demons don't know the art of dark magic."
"Wait a minute, does that mean—"
The Butler shifted his gaze to Kashi, but while interrupting the butler's voice, Kashi nodded,
"Yes, the one who assassinated the demon is a mage, not a demon."
"Mage? Don't demons have mages in their clan as well?"
Mary asked.
"Yes, but Dark Magic is the only magic that demonic mage failed to learn. It's something that only humans can do," Kashi added.
Then, his eyes shifted to the corpse of the demon. He commented,
"Someone had killed him yet we failed to realise it. It means the mage who did that is a high-level mage."
Then, he turned around, saying,
"At least it proves that the demon in the forest is not connected with the death of the demon."
