Sweet Love Turned Sour

The maid parked the emptied plate and empty glass cup from the table, Alfred thanked her. He had finished his cookies and juice, he waited so long for Liam, to the point he was getting worried, he knew his boss was okay, yet he couldn't help but get worried. He stood up from the couch, and take a walk outside to check on Liam.

Lalisa was fuming in rage, no lies in what Liam said, she was nothing but a puppet to her father, Lisa had been a strong lady who was very harsh and ruthless to gain respect, it runs in the blood of the smiths not to let anyone look down on them, she won't watch Liam speaks to her, she folds her arm ready to fire back at Liam, "How can....."

"What happening here?" Alfred interrupted her, he was shocked to see the three of them stand together, what a night! he walked towards them.

Lalisa finally see someone she could vent her anger on "Are you insane!" She yelled.

Alfred had no idea what was going on, seeing the three of them together made him ask what was happening, and why is she yelling. Lalisa hated Alfred with passion, with her behavior people will doubt they dated during high school and college days

Alfred's grandfather was a good and loyal friend of Old Master Smith, due to their good relationship, the Smiths sponsor his education. He and Lalisa were childhood sweethearts, their sweet love story turned into a sour one when Alfred decided to work with Liam instead of her.

Lalisa looked young and pretty and alluring, she had an innocent face unlike now. She waited impatiently for Alfred in his apartment, and Alfred arrive right in time. She stands up and rushes to him "Baby baby baby" she called him.

Alfred smiled "Aren't you suppose to start work at the hotel today, what are you doing here?" He asked surprisingly. Lalisa cliche onto him, "I can't focus on work, how was the meeting with my grandpa" she asked with a concerned tone.

Alfred held her hand and walked toward the couch, he sat down and draw Lalisa to seat on his lap, and she obeyed obediently, Alfred's hands caresses her head gently "The meeting was simple, he asked me to choose where to work among all the branches the Smith has" he said as he caresses her hair.

Lalisa clapped in excitement "You choose to work with me and my dad?" She asked as if they she already know the answer.

Alfred pecked her, he knew she is going to be so disappointed in him "Babe... I choose to work as Liam's assistant, to focus more" he explained.

Lalisa stands up from his lap in anger "Are you out of your mind? why would you do that? Being his assistant means you won't be promoted, you will be running errands and doing his dirty works!" She scolded him aggressively.

"Join hands with me and dad, so that we can take him down, I can be the president and you can be the Vice President, we can rule the business world together" she added.

Alfred looked at her in disbelief she wasn't like this who poisoned her mind "Lisa! Who is feeding you all these lies?" He asked

Lalisa rolled her eyes "Nobody fed me any lies, I am old enough to make decisions"

He stands up from the couch, he moves closer to her "Babe, why would you think of taking him down, you are not that kind of a person, is uncle Phillip feeding you all these lies if not why would you have such a dirty thought" he said in a disappointed tone. He held her waist and speaks in a comforting tone "Babe I love you so much, I want you to be the mother of my unborn children, I don't want you to go astray"

Lalisa seems to have made up her mind, she moved away from Alfred "If you truly love me with your whole heart, work with me babe" she said in a serious tone.

"What will happen if I say no?" He asked her.

Lalisa didn't think twice before giving him her answer "Then it's over between us if you refuse to work with me, just act like we never happened"

Alfred was dumbfounded, when did she turn into a monster? Lalisa picked up her bag "Call me when you make up your mind" she said and left in anger. Alfred refused to call her, The rest was history.

Alfred bowed "I apologize Ms.Lalisa, I dare not cut your speech," he said and bowed. Lalisa hissed "Low life" she looked down on him.

Liam didn't interfere, he knew they had personal issues among themselves, he tapped Terry's shoulder "Consider what I said, let's leave" he said

Terry nodded "I will" Liam walked away, Alfred give a bow to Terry, and followed him behind.

"Why is he here?" She asked suspiciously.

Terry wasn't in the mood to be chit-chatting, he is supposed to be in bed cuddling his boyfriend in this cold weather "Wait here I will get your car key" he said and went inside without inviting her in.

Terry handed over the car key to Mr. Cameron "She is outside, go give her and make sure she leaves before you leave after that go rest, the weather is cold" he instructed. Mr. Cameron bowed and left the room. Terry laid down beside Ezra who was in his dreamland "I would do anything to protect you, I hope you love me back the way I do" he pecked and hug him tightly.

Mr. Cameron approached Lalisa, and he bowed "Here stands the car key, Ms.Lalisa, please drive safe," he said considerably.

"Where is Terry? she questioned him. Mr. Cameron answered truthfully " He had a hectic day, he is resting. Lalisa collected the car key from Mr. Cameron's "Bunch of losers" she said and walked towards the garage to pick up her car. Mr. Cameron stayed behind following his boss's order
