Qing, with her hands on the zither, started to strum the strings because she was too shy to make eye contact with Yang Yi.

Occasionally, however, she would sneak a peek at Yang Yi, as if his presence gave her a great sense of security, that with him around, not even the sky falling could ruffle her.

The beautiful notes of the zither spread throughout the courtyard, and Yang Yi's thoughts seemed to unfold with the music, his silent past coming vividly to life.
