Behind Cyl twenty soldiers followed him, Noah's face darkened even more as he saw them. -" Didn't most of the soldiers go to the other camp? Why there are so many Foundation Establishment cultivators here?" Noah felt anguish, he thought that Elizabeth was fed false information about the situation in the army.

-" Oh, yes we sent most of the soldiers there, the ones here are guards from the Strafhampton City, while we are short of manpower, there is still some of them guarding the cities." Jeffrey felt a lot better now that Noah stopped pressuring him with his aura.

-" Are you crazy? Don't you fear that the Heigong will take advantage of that and attack?" Noah's hopes were already gone, he knew that they fell straight into the trap that Jeffrey set up.

-" Oh… Don't worry about that, the Heigong won't attack us, at least we aren't their main focus now. There is a target that is way more appetizing to them here." Philips smile made Noah helpless, he seriously regretted choosing to come here.

At first, he just wanted to come here to humiliate Byrth and tell him to stay away from Madeline, but, who knew that this would be one of his worst decisions ever.

-" So what are you doing with me? If you hurt me the Eternal Sun Sect will not let this pass easily." Noah looked a lot more nervous now that he finally understood the reality of the situation.

-" Hahahaha, why are you worried all of a sudden? If I want to do something there is nothing stopping me because I'm stronger than you, isn't that how things work?" The way Philips acted made Noah even more afraid.

Noah was about to threaten Philips with the name of his sect one more time when he suddenly looked back to the northeast with shock. The sky there began to turn red, Noah instantly knew that was happening.

-" Oh, looks like the Heigong made its move too, Elias and Mathias are there? I hope they can handle that, it looks like the Heigong brought quite a few people this time." Philips only made Noah worry, even more, he was about to dash straight away in their direction when Philips's aura poured over him.

-" What are you doing? The Heigong is attacking, I need to go help them." Noah sounded furious as Philips stopped him.

-" Didn't you say that you would make us company? Why are you leaving so soon?" Philips's mocking smile infuriated Noah even more. " Besides that there are some other visits coming."

Jeffrey, Cyl, and Byrth looked over the horizon as Philips warned them, four shadows were flying fast in their direction. Cyl raised his hand and the soldier entered in formation. The first battle was about to begin.

Luckas who was still inside his tent was caught in surprise as he felt even more powerful auras reaching the camp. When he first sense the unknown aura in the camp he decided to stay in his tent and focus on analyzing the changes in his system.

-" Fuck, I finally opened the second part of the tree, if I had a few more hours I bet I could breakthrough the third level of body cultivation." Luckas felt that his good luck ended as soon as the conflict outside began, he already had one talent point saved, so if he could reach the third level on both paths he could complete the second part of the tree instantly.

To Luckas opening the sixth aspect of the Qi tree was the most important thing for him, but, the chaos outside made him hesitant of continuing to cultivate right now. -" Fuck it, if I go outside right now I will only be a burden to them, it's better for me to stay hidden for now."

Luckas decided to keep hiding inside the tent and cultivate, he knew that in such a battle he would be useless.

-" Ten levels of the Qi Cultivation and eight of the Body Cultivation, this is eighteen points." Luckas gazed at the second part of the tree, he already confirmed that the bonus that the aspects gave now was stronger and better than the previous one. " The quantity branch was Qi Absortion Range I and QI Absortion Rate III, the control is just Qi Control II and III." Luckas felt that using the points now was the best thing to do as he didn't know if he would have time to distribute them in the near future. " These two are the best ones for me right now, if I focus completely on the Qi Tree i can completely fill the last two parts of the tree with the remaining points."

Luckas selected the Quantity Branch and made his decision, the Qi Absortion rate would help him breakthrough now and complete this part of the tree faster as he just needed sufficient accumulation of Qi to complete his breakthrough. In the future, Luckas would eventually activate all the aspects from the second and third parts of the Qi Tree so he didn't mind leaving them aside for now.

-" I just hope someone attack doesn't miss and hit me or something like that." Luckas finished spending his talent points and observed the chaos of the Qi around him, Luckas gulped as he knew that this was just the start of this battle and soon things would get even worse. After settling down again he closed his eyes and began to cultivate again.
