13. finally, a challenge

Mike's consciousness was sucked from his body and he reappeared outside of the familiar tree, taking out the guard mike walked In. waisting no time mike began hunting, with his level and stats mike was confident in fighting groups with 10 members. going against a group mike was able to kill Half of them without them noticing, then he took care of the rest. time flew by fast, it had been 3 hours and mike had killed all but 1 group. in all he had killed 634 rabbits so far.

panting, mike sat down to recover his mp.

mike looked over his status untill he got to the gold and system points. pulling the shop menu up, mike started looking for the rabbit pelt armor. as soon as mike found it he bought it, immediately he felt something join his inventory. looking at it he took it out and started putting it on, as soon as it was on mike felt himself because stronger. looking at his status he saw a plus two on his strength and his speed. this was only one piece of the set. going onto the shop menu he bought six more pieces, two gloves, pants, a helmet, and two shoes. all together mike had plus 7 strength, plus 6 speed and plus 4 defense.

mike waited for 30 minutes untill he was ready to fight the last group. this group had six members, but on of Wich was 10 meters tall. the rabbits surrounding it were trouble sum, the had wind slash and would all attack at once. mike cracked his neck and prepared himself.

sneaking twords the group mike took ten rabbit claws out, he began to use them frequently because he had so many. throwing two at one smaller rabbit, mike had hit it in the head and the chest. as soon as the claw hit, the other rabbits looked straight at mike. with one rabbit dead by a head shot, mike only had to worry about 4 wind slash rabbits and a huge one.

mike rushed twords the other four and took two claws into his hand, looking ahead mike saw a green blade heading for him. jumping to the left mike was able to barely dodge the attack. to Mike's right he felt the earth shake a little, a giant claw was racing twords him along with three wind slash's. jumping back, the hugs rabbit claw hit the ground. the ground shook before blood flowed from the claw, taking a deeper look mike saw that the wind slashes had harmed the giant rabbit.

mike looked at the wound and got an idea, rushing to jump on the claw just as it began to fly upward. landing on the claw, mike ran up the arm of the rabbit all while dodging countless wind slashes.

" how much mo do you mother fuckers have" mike yelled

" the beasts in the doungen have infinite mp, this it true even while in the endless doungen" the system announced

mike kept running up the arm but was annoyed, not only did his enemy's have infinite mp but so far no wind slashes had hit the giant arm. reaching the shoulder mike began stabbing it, dodging wind slashes and the other arm of the giant rabbit became a really difficult process. there were a few close calls but nothing hit Adam yet. mike ran away from the shoulder and jumped on the top of the giant's head, looking at the rabbits below mike began charge a wind slash of his own.

throwing the slash down at the rabbits, mike returned his focus to the giant back at just in time. the giant rabbit sent a fast strike aimed for mike.

jumping off of the rabbits head mike landed next to the wind slash rabbits, looking up mike saw the giant rabbit hit itself in the head causing it to be slightly dazed. while mike was looking at the giant rabbit he remembered something.

[ what happened to my wind slash] mike thought. before mike could check his surroundings, he felt a great pain rise up. an explosion rang out making mike's ears ring. mike flew over 20 meters away and landed on his back, bringing himself to look up he saw that the giant rabbit was just fine but the wind slash rabbits were blone to bit's. stand up mike noticed that his right foot was obliterated.

-200 hp, bleeding

mike sighed. " purchase 3 f- rank healing potions" mike told the system

" that will cost 1500 gold, do you want to contact" the system said.

" yes!" mike shouted

-20hp

mike felt something enter his inventory, immediately he took it out and drank the potion.

+200 hp, bleeding reduced.

with the bleeding reduced mike returned his focas of the giant rabbit. "show me it's status" mike said

" mp can also refer to magic ability, the host is a special Case" the system said

with this out of mind mike focused on trying to run forward, mike stumbled from the missing foot. it didn't take the giant rabbit long to remmber about mike, both rushing twords each other they meet quickly. mike turned as fast as he could, the rabbits claw missed mike and he climbed up it again. once on top of rabbit, mike unleashed. he kept cutting and cutting while occasionally dodging.

with every hit mike did around 60 damage, doing some quick math mike found that he needed to hit the rabbit 57 time successful. there were only a few times mike got hit and every time he did, he drank a healing potion. the bleeding had gone away and the rabbit was bleeding like crazy, it was almost dead.

mike kept hitting the rabbit until he saw the rabbits eyes roll back into it's head. taking this as a sign of the rabbits death, mike jumped off. the giant fell to the ground and mike waited to pick up the loot. looking around mike saw that the orbs of the four rabbits that was exploded was nowhere to be found but the giant rabbit and rabbit he killed at the start still dropped stuff. picking everything up mike was confused, why where there rainbow orbs?
