It was any other day when I got hit by that semi didn't watch where I was going and next thing I know I'm splattered all over the asphalt. Kind of a fitting way to end such a meek and miserable life, my name is Keith and I am just your average guy trying to make his way in the world. I didn't have much of a family my dad died when I was younger and my mom died just last year from a heart attack. So being left alone to take care of myself at 23 isn't to terrible. After being hit with the truck I awaken in a black inky void filled with cold darkness. I wonder to myself is this what comes after just black nothingness? My question is swiftly answered by a mechanical female voice. "Welcome User, I am the Interface. I am the tool which you can use to access the system as a whole." A flash of light blinds me as I begin asking myself hundreds of questions. "Why am I here? Is this for Real? Did I just transmigrate? What does she mean access the system? and hundreds of other questions run through my mind, before I get a chance to ask them the system continues speaking. "Welcome to the Fantasy world this is the beginning world and comes with a tutorial. Would user like to enter this world? After a few minutes I collect myself. Finally getting a chance to speak and ask all my questions. "Before I choose can I ask a few questions." The voice responds "Most certainly User I can answer all of your questions as long as you have the requirements for them." "What do you mean Requirements?" "Well with each question asked of the interface. The system automatically determines if you meet the requirements for the knowledge. By checking your EXP, INT, QI, Arcane energy, and Ether points. If the system determines that you have sufficient enough requirements then it will allow me to answer you otherwise I will remain silent." "Hmmm... Ok I don't like the sound of that but I guess I'll have to deal with it." " Interface, where are we currently" "User is currently in a holding pattern until they decide which world they wish to inhabit. I am currently in the systems main databanks and am speaking to you through telepathy." "Ok? You said this world as in there is more than one world to choose from? Can I go back to my own world?" ".... No, you can't and yes there is more than one world. The system chose this one as your beginning because of its analysis of you and your previous life's interests and it concluded that this world would be the best one for User to begin his journey with." "First things first what type of sentient races make up this world?" "The world is primarily populated by Elves, Orcs, Gnomes, Dwarfs, Goblins, and Dragon-kind." "So, no humans? That's interesting. Interface, if I chose this world would I reincarnate as a human?" "No" came the response. "Ok what would I get to reincarnate as?" "User may choose what to reincarnate as with the exceptions of dragon-kind, in order to reincarnate user must choose this world.

" Do you wish to reincarnate in the Fantasy world? Yes or No?"

"Oh, so I have to choose this world in order to learn more about it?"

"That is correct. Does user want to choose this world."

"Maybe can I look at the other worlds?"

"The interface does not recommend looking at other worlds this world was picked specifically by the system for the user. It is unlikely that you will survive or thrive in the others. Do you wish to continue?"

"Oh...That was unexpected. I guess I should just go with the recommended settings."

As the words came out a screen appeared in my mind showing me my choices Elf, Orc, Goblin, Gnome, and Dwarf. Dragon kind was there but it was blacked out and not selectable.

Without hesitation I knew exactly what one to pick "Elf" I announced to the system.

"Loverance has chosen elf are you sure this is what you want to be once decided it cannot be changed until you have completed one saga."

"Yes, I am certain... Wait whats a saga?"

Without any further confirmation. The interface moved onto the next step in character creation. As expected it didn't answer any questions. In front of my eyes flashes of light pop up as I am assaulted with a variety of prompts. "Choose a starting attribute. In this setting the attributes are as follows. Strength (STR) Dexterity (DEX) Constitution (CON) Wisdom (WIS) Intelligence (INT) Charisma(CHA) Health (HP) Mana (MP) Qi Energy (QP) or Ether (EP). Now once Loverance chooses an attribute, the class and occupation choices will be narrowed down to better accommodate you."

"O...Ok Interface can you break down the attributes more so I can make an informed decision."

"Most definitely Loverance. Strength is your physical body type and will be best suited for fighting with melee weapons and labor jobs, Dexterity embodies how agile and quickly you move, this attribute tends to assist those with jobs that require hiding and moving swiftly, Constitution is your overall health and fortitude. It helps with all the occupations. Wisdom embodies how well you can learn, this attribute is best for occupations requiring the use of Ether as well as the crafting occupations. Intelligence is how quickly you learn and how much common sense you will possess. It is good for those in the trading and crafting occupations as well as if you want to use Mana efficiently. Charisma is how you appear to others not only physically but intellectually as well. It is used for diplomacy and business occupations. The other four attributes are useful in the whole world as well as increasing your base amount of that particular attribute. Also picking one of the last four will also award an extra skill tied to that attribute. Do you wish to decide your attribute. Or do you have more questions?" Sitting down to collect myself and digest this info dump of information I process exactly what type of person I want to be and how do I want to live my life. Sitting in the silence for what seems like hours I finally have made my decision "Hey Interface, I've decided what I want. I choose Intelligence as my attribute."

"Attribute selection confirmed, congratulations Loverance, now you must choose your occupation, going with your choice of Intelligence here are the occupations that best fit you.

Herbalism Apprentice, Wizard Apprentice, Inventors Apprentice, Merchants squire, and Business intern. Which occupation would you like?"

"Hmm... Well I dont want to work in business or trading, I have no interest in gadgets, the last two are extremely beneficial depending on the situation."

"The Interface would like to notify Loverance that your saga will be completely based off of the occupation picked. Don't be mistaken as if this is a game, but the occupation you start off with will definitely decide which quests you will be offered."

"I think I will choose to be a Wizard's apprentice."

"Confirmed..."

"Congratulations Loverance, based on your past life the system has rewarded you with an extra occupation. The secondary occupation is Herbalist's apprentice."

The poor level will grant you a bonus during intense situations, middle class will offer humbleness in all facets, Lesser Nobility will give you connections to the school you attend- and an influential social circle, Upper Nobility will give you connections to the absolute best schools and social circles. Wealth will give you unlimited coinage but it also gives you a negative effect of being unable to solve situations on your own."

"Next you have to choose if you want A supportive family, A strict family, or A family that is loving nobles. The supportive family will give you parents who will give everything they can to help you, the strict family will give you discipline and the added benefit of being a natural born leader, the loving noble family will give you the discipline, natural born leader, and a few secret perks that I cannot disclose at this time."

As the interfaces last words hit my ears I feel myself falling and being engulfed in warmth. As I awaken I cry out at the top of my lungs realizing I had just been reborn, literally I am a newborn babe in my mamma's arms.
