Chapter 67 Ski Trip

Without saying anything, Darwin walked down the stairs.

Nicole watched him as he walked closer and closer to her. His footsteps were exceptionally loud in the spacious living room and she felt like her heartbeat reverberated with each step.

She held her breath and widened her eyes. Suddenly, she saw him slowly reach out his hand and touch her.

She pulled back instinctively. "Darwin, what are you..."

"Shut up!" Darwin growled.

Nicole immediately shut her mouth and stood there perfectly still.

Seeing that she did as what he said, Darwin couldn't help glancing at her again. Then he wiped something off the corner of her mouth with his thumb. "You drooled."

"I drooled?" Nicole touched the corner of her mouth in disbelief. When she saw the water stains on his fingers, her face turned red. "I... I didn't mean to..."

Good heavens, she was actually drooling while she was smiling!

This was too embarrassing.
