Chapter 29 What’s Your Decision?

"Mrs. Hayden has probably gone to bed. Mr. Hayden, are you looking for her? I can go and call her downstairs." Aunt Shannon put down the remote.

Darwin raised his hand to stop her. "No, it's okay, I can go find her myself."

After that, Darwin went upstairs.

The room was pitch-black and it was eerily quiet.

Darwin turned on the light and the whole room lit up.

He looked at the bed, the quilt was bulging and it was obvious that someone was lying inside.

"She's really asleep!" Darwin murmured. He walked over lightly and looked down at Nicole sleeping on the bed.

She had fallen asleep and looked very demure. However, her knitted brows showed that she did not sleep well.

Is she having a nightmare?

Darwin reached out to touch her forehead and decided not to wake her up.

"Forget it, I will talk to her tomorrow." Darwin thought.

Since he had already delayed the conversation for so long, what's one more day anyway.
