Arina battles the Queen

Sasha Valore, the Queen of Seraphs, the one who announced and declared war. The Valore Family had been the monarchy of Obsidian for more than two centuries because of their special Dual Spell Magic.

Some exceptional Seraphs could also perform more than two Spell Magic types but one of them wouldn't be as strong as the other. But the Valore Family was exceptional in the two Spell Magic Types they possessed which varied.

Sasha was also known to have a large amount of Magic in her compared to the rest of her Family so beating her was no easy task.

As the Queen walked forward, the four Casters took a fighting stance.

"You have a lot of nerve coming here, Arina Uzukire!" The Queen said in visible anger. She was annoyed and sickened by the fact that Neon had sent a 'Caster Spy' to one of Obsidian's Seraph Academy.' They hadn't done this since they thought Obsidian had been hosting some Demons which was a false alarm.

She had tried hard to ensure a stable and friendly relationship with Neon but they just had to send a Caster Spy which was an indirect declaration for war when the Spy was caught. Sasha had done some digging herself about the Caster Spy and who she was but she doubted the information she had gotten was real since it stated she was a student at one of the MCA's and was only fifteen years of age. The only reason she was in this Academy was to protect the Well of Magic here which was invaluable.

"Picture Casting: Past Encoun... huh?" Before Luz could use her Charm, it deactivated signalling that she had used up all her Open Gems. The others also had this same problem except Arina who had one Open Gem left on her Caster Charm and three in her Seraph Charm. Although they still had their weapons, they doubted it would help against the Queen's top tier armor.

I'm gonna have to battle the Queen MYSELF, Arina thought.

The Queen didn't wait any longer and charged in. Mid-run, she pulled her hand into what looked like a silver sheath and pulled out a katana of the same color. She set her eyes on Arina and thrusted the Drach Weapon forward. But instead of getting stabbed in the ribs, Arina successfully moved to the side and avoided the attack.

"Hah!" The Queen shot out a powerful blast of electricity from her bare hands. The attack was too fast for Arina to dodge and the latter ended up on the ground after getting hit in the chest.

While she was down, the Queen threw a strike at her with her powerful sword intent on stabbing her but it went through her.

Arina had made herself intangible with a Spell she had written in her Spell Book.

"Move with haste. Switch place." Arina said under her breath and appeared behind Sasha.

She quickly drawed out and threw out her fist but the Queen grabbed her hand and twisted it.

"Ah!!" Arina shouted and kicked herself away from the Queen.

"I just want to talk."

Instead of replying to her, the Queen dashed forward again and released another blast of electricity.

"Just listen to me!" Arina asked as she dodged the attack by performing a split.

"The words of the despicable hold no power." The Queen replied as she shot two more blasts of electricity and kept doing so repititevely.

Arina dodged this by performing backflips, dodging and everything she could do but the attacks just kept coming.

"Please, just listen." Arina said between gasps for air.

"Arina, catch." Luz threw her staff to her friend and Arina caught it.

Arina sensed a large wave of electricity being sent towards her and she quickly used the staff to block the incoming attack. The Staff served it's purpose but immediately disintegrated after, only leaving behind the purple orb.

"Oh, no." Arina said, realizing the strength behind the Queen's attack was something that destroyed most of a Stage 6 Drach Weapon.

"You're actually making me use my power. Impressive." The Queen said, releasing a disk made of much more destructive black lightning. The Spell Magic Types she possessed were State and Change Spells. She hadn't used the former because she had seen no reason to yet.

Arina seeing this attack, preparing her strongest Spell which was what she was going to use her last Open Gem on.

"Light Casting: Ray Blast!!!" Arina tried to counter, using all the magic she had and released the bright orange blast of light magic with both of her hands glowing fiercely with energy.

Shockwaves were created as she tried countering this Black Disc of Lightning which was only budging a little.

"Okay. A little more power." The Queen moved forward a bit and the amount of magic she put into the Spell increased.

At the same time, the amount of force Arina was receiving increased almost three fold which was enough to have beaten her attack but she dug into herself and found even more Magic and supplied it to her Spell, knowing it was the last Open Gem she had.

Zane, Zake and Luz had been watching their fight from the sidelines and wanted to help Arina but the volts of lightning emanating from the Black Disc every three seconds erased that urge. They were struggling to help her but they knew they couldn't do anything with the Drach Gear they had on them.

The clash of Spells had been going on for three long minutes. Arina was sweating buckets, her eye lids heavy and her arms weak from holding the attack for so long.

"I.. can't do this anymore." Arina said as she fell down. Luckily enough for her, the two attacks almost completely countered each other out but the worst possible outcome occured when a volt of lightning had hit her, causing her to fall into the Well of Magic in the middle of the room.

The moment Arina was hit by the volt of lightning, everything slowed down. Arina looked at her friends, shocked and looking angry at themselves. While the Queen looked like she had made a mistake and taken things too far.

Arina gave a sad smile as she fell into the Well, aware that it's contents being Raw Magic were too powerful for any person to have in their body and could kill her.

A loud splashing sound was heard when she fell in and some raw magic escaped the well because of the force.

"Arina!!!!!!!!!!!" Luz cried out with tears, having the same knowledge as the others about raw magic. Zane was doing the same but Zake looked like he was trying to hold it in but his eyes were watering and he had to take off his glasses.

Luz stormed towards the Queen who stood there, stunned by her own actions. Luz hit her hands against the Queen's large chest in anger, since she was only that tall.

With teary eyes, she screamed at her, "All she wanted to do was apologize to you but you wouldn't have it. She tried again and again but you didn't listen and instead, you attacked a fifteen year old girl." Luz shouted and Sasha's heart began to race.

She was wrong about everything and felt beyond guilty.

"And now... now... she's..."

"Arina!" Zane pointed towards a white light with her shape, reminiscent of a beautiful silhouette.
