Chapter 48 Anna
I froze, immediately covering Raphael’s lips that almost made contact with mine. I gave him a look of ‘Did you hear that?’ yet he just returned a look of an annoyed expression. He removes my palm from his mouth while also putting me down to the ground.
“You always know how to ruin the mood, don’t you?” He says, irked. “Calm down, It’s just Anna. Come on, you’ll like her when you see her.”
“Anna?” My eyebrow furrowed in puzzlement.
A woman. but what is a woman doing at such a place like this?
All of a sudden, i had a bad feeling as i watched Raphael’s back by the entrance of the house. There was something about being in such an abandoned place then hearing a woman’s name out of his mouth. Though i’ve known Raphael for being an unusual person, i was not that stupid to jump into such a dangerous situation.
He glanced back at me when he noticed that i hadn’t left my spot. “Abby, it’s fine. There’s nothing to be scared about.”
