Meng Jian trusted Wang Yu and that was the only reason why they let down the guard. They had always been watching Li Zi Yun from a distance, just making sure that no one from outside tried to harm her. However, what they did not know was that, Li Shu Chen and his mistress had been torturing Li Zi Yun ever since Yang Ling Ling died. Both the Zhao family and Meng family knew that asking people inside the Li family to watch Li Zi Yun would definitely make more people aware and suspicious. So all they did was watch her from afar. Since Li Zi Yun had never gone to the hospital even once for her injuries, no one in the Meng family knew about the physical abuse she was facing at home. No one except the four people had a clue as to who she was and they had safe guarded that secret till now.

Meng Feng had seen how possessive Wang Yu was towards Li Zi Yun and he did not let her feet touch the ground. He felt reassured that Wang Yu would take care of Li Zi Yun and all security had been called back. Wang Yu was getting suspicious of them and they thought it would be the perfect time to stop the surveillance. Wang Yu had been digging around to find out who has been following his wife and before he could find anything, Meng Feng had ordered everything to be stopped. Li Zi Yun was always at home and they thought that there would no longer be any threats and they had completely stopped watching her. And now this had happened. Though they had not spoken to Li Zi Yun even once, they all loved her, unlike Zhao Ming Mei, she was not a spoiled brat and the way she behaved was more mature than others of her own age were. All of them had only one thought in their mind, 'Li Zi Yun should somehow come back home safely'.

While the elders stayed quiet, Meng Sen Xi did not. He took a dig at Wang Yu, "Unlike what you think, you did a shitty job of protecting her"

Wang Yu's eyes were shooting daggers, "What do you mean?"

Zhou Nan Xi came at that moment, he had ran and come inside, and saw the two men staring at each other, "Boss"

Wang Yu showed him out and followed him and Meng Sen Xi followed them.

Zhou Nan Xi showed them a video, "Boss see this"

"One of the forest cameras caught this. We think Madam was kidnapped in this car"

Wang Yu asked him, "Did you find any details?"

"They are searching the database right now"

Wang Yu was not happy. This may or may not be helpful. It has been a day and until now they had not heard a word about her. Wang Yu started walking to his car.

Meng Sen Xi yelled behind him, "Where are you going?"

Wang Yu got into the car. He was on in the right mindset to drive so the chauffeur got into the driver seat. What he did not expect was Meng Sen XI getting into his car.

Before Wang Yu could throw Meng Sen Xi out, he said, "Relax. My men are also looking into the car. If we are together, we can find her faster. We have our ways"

Thought Wang Yu wanted to throw him out, he let him stay. Finding Li Zi Yun was more important to him now.

Wang Yu was tapping his feet impatiently. His hair looked messy; he had not shaved or changed his suit, which was totally unlike him. But he did not care about his appearance, all he wanted to do now was find Li Zi Yun.

After some time Wang Yu asked Meng Sen Xi, "Were you not working in my company?"

Meng Sen Xi faked a surprised look, "So you do know all your employees. Impressive"

Wang Yu did not answer. But Meng Sen Xi did not stop talking, "Why didn't you seem surprised when you heard about my cousin's real family?"

Wang Yu did not even turn to look at him but Meng Sen Xi did not stop, "You knew about this?"

Wang Yu was now getting irritated. He wanted to think in peace but Meng Sen Xi was totally ruining it.

After finding out that Li Zi Yun's mother Yang Ling Ling was not having an affair with anyone, the only conclusion Wang Yu could come to was, Li Zi Yun was not really from the Li family. He did not dig deeper and left it as such. Every time Mrs. Zhao met Li Zi Yun, she took care of Li Zi Yun more than his mother took care. Though he could not point out what the problem was, he still felt weird when he saw that. Mrs. Zhao was not the type who spoke or laughed to everyone and Wang Yu had seen her warm up to Li Zi Yun from the very first time they met. Li Zi Yun was not the exact photocopy of her mother, so unless someone looked closely, no one would think they were related to each other. When the glass jar fell down during Wu Li Shu and Chu Yan's engagement, Meng Xuan Li was the one who was holding onto Li Zi Yun sitting on the floor. Wang Yu had noticed this clearly. But he thought that he was over thinking the situation and pushed it to the back of his head.

Meng Sen Xi waited for some time, but he got no reply, so he continued, "Well did you know that I was Li Zi Yun's first boyfriend?"

Wang Yu had enough now, "Shut up if you want to stay alive. My wife and children's lives are in danger now and do you think I have time to listen to your nonsense"

Meng Sen Xi lost his patience. He spat out, "Then you shouldn't have lost her"

Meng Sen Xi was nervous and scared. But this was his way of calming himself down, by talking unnecessarily. His men were still out there searching. He just could not understand why someone would want to kidnap a girl like Li Zi Yun. She was not part of any of the elite clubs, she doesn't go out and abuse the people, to be exact no one had even seen her outside for the past few months.
