CHAPTER 36

BOOOM!

It had been six hours since Sophia used Spirit Judgement on Chaos. The battlefield was completely different from before. Craters and cracked earth filled my vision, and lava freely flowed around us. Spatial fissures kept appearing and disappearing.

We were all lying on the ground, either unconscious or heavily injured. The only one who remained standing was Chaos, who didn't seem to be in a good state either. His horns and tail, which had continued to regenerate, were nowhere to be seen, and one of his wings was completely ripped out.

"Haha, I knew you'd put up a fight, but I never expected it to be this fierce," he said, flashing his signature grin, albeit distorted this time around.

"I also didn't expect you to be this strong," I said, pausing to take a breath through the pain. "Is it because of your nature, or has Daniel always been this strong?"

"To wield a power like chaos, one has to consent to the end product of chaos, which is destruction," he said. "Unfortunately, Daniel didn't consent to it, causing his powers to be weakened and his speed of mastery to slow down. I was created due to that lack of consent."

"I see," I sighed.

"Now, if you're done asking questions, it's time for you to fulfill your destiny," Chaos said, materializing a scythe as he walked forward.

"You're mistaken, Chaos," I said, forcing myself to stand up. "I'm not the one who's dying today."

"Eh, you're going to make your last stand?" he laughed. "How pitiful. Very well, then. Don't make this too boring." He rushed toward me.

"This can't be my last stand if the battle is just beginning," I said, tilting my head in confusion.

I brought my hands together with such force that it caused a shockwave.

"All this while, you've been bullying a weakened opponent. Don't you know what karma is?" I said, a smile forming on my face. "Not that it matters anyway. Brace yourself. You are about to witness the true power of the 'JACK OF ALL TRADES.'"

[ CHAOS'S PERSPECTIVE]

"Not that it matters anyway. Brace yourself. You are about to witness the true power of the 'JACK OF ALL TRADES.'"

I felt a bad premonition as I heard those words, I jumped back immediately and escaped as far as I can before I heard the words drifting into my hearing like a devil's whisper

I smiled looking at chaos as he escaped

[FUSION]

Damien, Alexa and all the others turned into rays of light and entered my body.

The space shook and the earth trembled. All the air molecules around us seemed to have stopped moving in fear. I smiled, which was an expected reaction. After all, nine peak demigods had been merged into one, and more than fifty peak demigods had been transformed into armor and weapons for the same person.

"It seems you like bullying the weak," I said "Let's see how you like it when you're the one on the receiving end."

To be honest, throughout my entire life, both as a mortal and as a demigod, this was the first time I was using any of these abilities. I wouldn't have had to use them if I hadn't been weakened by the 'forbidden spell' I used. The spell not only caused damage to my body and mana pathways, but also my soul. The sudden attack from the gods made it so that I could barely wield forty percent of my total strength.

That being said, due to being the original, that kind of debuff on me is also a debuff on Alexa and the others, so from the beginning, I've always been the one losing.

However, the fusion changes that. I've fused with them both body and soul, so even though the damage is still there, it's negligible. I can ignore it. It's just like having an almost broken stick, then supplementing it with other perfect sticks and banding them together. Though, that's not entirely true in our case, as all other versions of me have also sustained physical injuries. But it doesn't really matter, as we're now as strong as a peak god, on the verge of breaking through to the supreme god level.
