Chapter 3

~Pet~

I stroll around the town where i landed. It was quite small, but it was filled with kind people. I tried to find the house that doctor made in Earth, they made it so that i was able to live somewhere and be safe.

I stopped infront of a house, my sensor was beeping loudly meaning it was the house. I smiled as i enter the house, that i will make my home. I explore the inside of the house, it wasn't big, nor small, it was the right size for one person. Even if the doctor said that it still seemed quite big to me. I go upstairs to check the rooms. There were three rooms in total, and a bathroom near the first room. Each room almost looked the same except for the other one which was smaller than the other two.

Doctor also said that i should get a pet to acompany me for the weeks that I'll be spending here on Earth. So he made an android pet. The android pet was inside that small room. It was laid down on the floor, seems like its turned off. I approached the android then crouched down. I examined at how the pet looked like. It was a feline cat, it had pale blue fur, and the abdomen and paws were colored white. It was male. I looked for the switch to make it alive, as i find it i carefully pressed it. Then its eyes opened. Its eyes were brightly lighted green, then turned into pale gray.

It stood on its tiny paws then looked at me, its eyes staring straight at mine. I reached out to the cat, then petted him. It lightly purred, as my hand rubbed its head.

"you're a cute one, hmm.... What shall i call you?"

The cat only looked at me as it purrs. I smiled again.

"how about.... Sky? You remind me of the sky with your pale blue fur"

Then a blue collar appeared around his neck with a little name tag that had "Sky" written on it. I giggled as i pet him more. His response was only a mere meow. Then as i decided his name, i carefully picked him up and left the room. I walked downstairs carrying Sky on both my arms. He seemed unbothered by my actions.

"how about we stroll outside, Sky?"

I looked at him as i place his leash on his collar, he meowed in response, like he understands me. I stood up then walked towards the door, with Sky following behind me, his little paws making a pitter patter on the floor board.

We stolled around the neighborhood, making sure that i remembered every turn i made. I was hoping on seeing Harley and Nana again, even if it was only a minute. I spot a bunch of kids playing on the playground. I smiled at the sight. Everything seemed so peaceful in Earth, i really wished that i was born a human being.

But doctor once mentioned that i was actually born a human. I wonder what it felt like when i was still alive, maybe that's why i enjoy it so much here on Earth.

I filled my mind with thoughts that reminded me of home. I didn't realize that i cross paths with Harley, i stopped walking then looked back. It was indeed him. I smiled as i called out to him.

"Harley!"
