Marriage a New Home

When I woke up alone, I found a note from Rudeus telling me to meet him in the market when I got dressed and when to see him. I walked up behind Rudeus and hugged him. "What has got you all worked up this early?" I whispered. Rudeus smiles and kisses me softly. I smiled into the kiss and kissed back. "What is it?" I ask. I was never reasonable with surprises. Rudeus took me to a jewelry shop and stood there holding my hands; he looked up at me and swallowed hard. I could tell he was about to ask me something huge. Rudeus takes my hands and gets on one knee in the middle of the market. "Will you marry me?" he asks me. I was shocked and unsure, but I knew deep down I loved him.

"Yes, of course," I said, smiling brightly. "we can move into the home I have here, so that is covered," I said. I needed to tell Mom thanks and make sure she was okay. Should I invite her? No father wouldn't let her go. Rudeus saw my face and touched my cheek. "What is on that mind of yours?" he asked me. I look at the man I love, hug him, and hold on. Rudeus hugged back. "It's okay, I am here. We can work it out whatever it is," he said in my ear. " I just miss my mom, and I would love for her to come and celebrate with us, but I know my father wouldn't allow her to come, and even if she did come without his blessing, he would have her killed," I said. Rudeus nods.

" I understand. I am sorry your family is this way. How about we write her a letter, invite her anyway, and see what happens? I do want your family there due to my family being unable to come," he said. God, he is perfect in every way. I nod, and we pick out two rings. I started writing a letter to my mom and mailed it off, hoping she would come. We walk hand in hand shopping and arrive at our new home, a vast house. I smile and walk in "My mom got me this, so if I didn't want to be in the dorms, I didn't have to, but it our home now and I cant wait" i said happily. We invited all our friends and had a party to tell them we where married I was so happy and at peace finally finding love.
