Beware the almighty 'Seer' who wanders the Murim. He knows all and sees all. The seer can predict the future and his predictions have never before been wrong. Those who heed his advice may be given a second chance while for all the others who don't... impeding doom awaits. The seer's words are absolute. How might you recognize him you ask...? There have been rumors of this man clad in black whose eyes shine a clean crimson glare right through his hermit hat when provoked. He is also rumored to be carrying a Demonic Sword. And if the rumors are to be believed he is actually quite young. P.S.: Yes, I am aware that the title might have turned out a bit inaccurate. Forgive this junior.
"Why the rush? Afraid to stay?... Pussy," Ling Yue taunted.
"You didn't actually say that..." replied the Seer with surprise, a slight smile creeping up on his face.
"I did, and I just had an epiphany of sorts. Clearly, this isn't going to work if I want to make it work..."
"Great? No more... all this heavy emotional shit that I would rather not deal with... great epiphany. Let that be a lesson to not be like me. This is a great resolution—sudden and anticlimactic. I would not have it any other way! Now that the awkward hostility is gone, I shall take my leave," the Seer interrupted, as joyous as he could be, although initially a bit confused.
"I never said that it was gone... it was gone from your end, not mine," Ling Yue continued, fidgeting with her hair, a sudden and not all that bad air of confidence surrounding her now.
The Seer, who was about to leave, found his joints frozen stiff, the cold spreading throughout with the passage of blood.
