The Seer's confidence grew as he walked away, knowing he had taken control of the facility's system. The lady, still standing by the tree-like structure, watched him with a mixture of amusement and frustration.
"You really are a piece of work," she muttered under her breath.
"Mhm," the Seer responded, still trudging away in his merry manner.
"Everything she said about you seems true..."
He halted in his tracks, the halogen balloon popped, the rubber and the strings back on the floor worse for wear. The Seer turned around to face the fox with a downward smile.
"You know what? There is something you can still do for me that I forgot to write in. How about you close the hatch we came out of-"
"Too late," the fox said, staring at a screen, one of many that were afloat all around her.
