Chapter 5

The next morning.....

'Its a new day the sun is shining and I've got a date. Well let's do my work out then join everyone for breakfast'- Axel

So Axel did his work out then went to join everyone for breakfast. Everyone was there Master Tenzin, Lady Pema, Jinora, Ikki, Meelo, and Korra.

"Good morning."- Axel

"Good morning Axel"- Master Tenzin

"Good morning."- Lady Pema

With that everyone started eating. Which was nothing but vegan food, but he can't complain food is food.

"Master Tenzin what is it you have planned for training today?"-Axel

"Today you and Korra will be the lead."- Master Tenzin

"Okay, what does that mean?"-Axel

"You will find out don't worry."- Master Tenzin

After everyone got through eating, Master Tenzin lead me, Korra, and his children to some air bender contraption.

"What is that?"-Korra

"That is something that is fundamental to teach air bending. Jinora please explain to Axel and Korra what they must do."- Master Tenzin

"Yes Dad. You need to weave your way through the gates without touching them."- Jinora

"Jinora forgot to say that they will be spinning as try to go to the other side."- Ikki

After Ikki added that Master Tenzin pushed air through the gates which made them start spinning. Then Master Tenzin sent a leaf through the contraption.

"You must be like the lead in order to get through the gates. Jinora please show them."- Master Tenzin

After Master Tenzin said that Jinora started going through the contraption in circular movements. When she got to the other side she blasted air through it to get the gates spinning again.

"You must be ready to shift at a moment's notice upon meeting any resistance in order to get through the gates. Now Korra why don't you go first."

So Korra went first and she failed.

"Don't worry Korra I'm sure you'll get it, it just takes time. Axel your turn."- Master Tenzin

I went through it and I failed too. Which isn't surprising since this is my first time doing something like this.

Go through the gates without touching them by 5:00pm.

Time left: 8 hours

Fail Condition: Does not go through the contraption by 5:00pm

Penalty: Your pride will be hurt.

Reward: 50,000SP, Master Tenzin's appreciation]

'Well let's get this done then.'- Axel

For the next 4 hours I tried and tried until during the fifth hour I finally got it. Of course we also had lunch during the third hour.

Go through the gates without touching them by 5:00pm.

Time left: 3 hours

Fail Condition: Does not go through the contraption by 5:00pm

Penalty: Your pride will be hurt.

Reward: 50,000SP, Master Tenzin's appreciation

"See Korra all takes is determination and practice and you will get it. Good job Axel."- Master Tenzin

"Thank you Master Tenzin."- Axel

'Even though I did it for the SP.'- Axel

"Of course he would get it he was already able to bend a little air while I can't bend it at all."- Korra

"Don't worry we will try again tomorrow. Now let's go and meditate."-Master Tenzin

We all followed Master Tenzin to where we will meditate. Once we all got settled down we started meditating until.....

"I think I'm doing it wrong." Korra

"There is nothing to do. Just close your eyes and relax your mind. Even Meelo's doing it."- Master Tenzin

"Actually Meelo's asleep."- Axel

"At least he got the relaxing part down. Don't worry it will sink in"- Master Tenzin

"I'm just gonna go get some lychee juice."- Korra

Korra got up and left.

"You do know she's not coming back right Master Tenzin."- Axel

"Yes I know that. Well at least your still here."- Master Tenzin

"I actually need to get ready for my date so yeah sorry."- Axel

"Its alright, I know teenagers and their hormones. Make sure to be back before 11:00pm."- Master Tenzin

"I will Master Tenzin."- Axel

After Axel said that he headed to his room to get dressed in his new black suit with a golden yellow tie, black pants and black fancy shoes. Of course he must look his best for his first date, after all first impressions are important.
