Chapter 89 Late

We reached Magnolia and began walking towards the guild. By the time we reached the town, Mavis decided to leave, and she said she wants to meet Porlyosika as she had revealed herself to many members, meeting the second person that ever saw her seemed right to her. And she also wanted to thank her for taking care of me all those years like her own grandchild.

On the way, all of them were in good moods but when Erza reminded them about the punishments that they are going to face, Natsu tried to run but was caught and beaten up by Erza. Gray and Happy were muttering in fear of what was about to happen while Lucy was freaking out as no one was answering her about what they will face as a punishment.

As we were walking, we saw a lot of people running towards someplace. Seeing this, everyone began to move quickly towards where the crowd is going towards. While I felt a weight settle on my guts.

'We were late'

That was the only thought on my mind as I ran with my friends and saw what I dreaded. Levy, Jet and Droy nailed to a tree with wounds all over their body. Just a quick look is enough to find out that their bones must be broken as well. By the time we reached, Master had also reached there as well.

His aura was spreading everywhere making people move away from him as they felt his anger. He looked towards our wounded comrades and then towards the Phantom Lord guild mark carved onto Levy's stomach.

He crushed the staff and shouted out

I went with Ur and got the three of them down while the rest began to go towards the Phantom Lord guild to take revenge. This time Lucy too joined them in the fight. Seeing that their wounds were dangerous, and Cana was out for a mission with the talisman, I, Meredy and Ur made the salves for the wounds and began to create crutches for the broken bones. I thought about using a potion but seeing that their condition is not that dangerous, and the potion is a limited commodity that does not come available in every mission, I decided not to use it.

The potions are extremely important when we get wounded or incapacitated during battle. So, I decided to keep it for now. Then I took Incursio out of inventory and looked at the sword that hosted the soul and flesh of the dragon that evolves. One of the most dangerous weapons if the one who is using it knows how to use it. I suddenly heard the system give me a quest.

"Hehe" I let out a small laugh at the way the mission came to me.

Beat one of the ten wizard saint, especially Jose the asshole himself.

Oh, man the reward is something that I desperately need but trust me, beating that asshole down is something I am willing to do for free.

I looked at Incursio again. It seems like activating it for the first time requires a chant. And the evolution and adaptation conditions depend upon the will of the user and the dangers he face. As long as the will of the user is strong enough, the armour will adapt but the armour still required stimulation and a direction in which it can evolve.

Plus, it seems like Jason's system had modified it a bit because of which, I was connected to the will of the armour while using it. With this I will be able to divert the evolution direction to somewhere I want it to be. But it requires strong catalyst that I can decide. Plus, the original side effects of deforming the user's body and losing control were removed from it as well.

Incursio also had a spear as well, but I had no idea of how to use one so the chances are I will only use the armour for melee fights.

As I waited while looking at the patient's conditions, the others came running to the guild because of Master's condition of being ambushed by one of the Phantom four who used Drain magic on him.

Drain was a magic that removed magic from the victim's body and scatters it to the atmosphere while making sure that the magic still has a connection to the user. Because of this, the victim will be extremely weakened and will endure excruciating pain until the scattered magic is brought back to his body. Plus, the factors that make this spell dangerous is that until the victims magic is completely brought back, they will not recover their magic naturally and any potion like my MP potion will not have any effect.

I immediately told them to take Master to Porlyosika and inquired others about what happened and found out that after Master got taken down, Lucy got caught and Natsu had gone to bring her back.

I began to patch up the wounded guild members while Natsu Brought Lucy back safely. And it seems like they found out that they did this attack to Kidnap Lucy because of her identity as the heir to one of the most influential business family in the entirety of Fiore.

Lucy becomes filled with guilt and tries to tell everyone that she will go back to her home so that these problems can end. Seeing this Natsu shouted out

"No way in hell you are leaving the guild because of those bastards"

"A man's duty is to protect a rich beautiful lady" Elfman joined in

"That's a bit creepy dude"

"Shut up Gray you bastard"

While the guild was in a jolly mood, Ur came near me.

"Hey, you got any ideas on how to face them, we can handle most of their wizards easily with the people we have here but their weapons and Jose himself are our biggest problems"

"Don't worry about the weapons and I will handle Jose Myself" I replied with conviction
