Chapter 16- Rewards

Arriving at the cafe, Cryd noticed that somehow, the building has expanded, well, a little bit but other than him no one else have noticed it, he also noticed that the doors have changed, it was still a glassdoor but instead of the automatic sliding door, it has become a glass door that can only be pushed and pulled(Sorry for my bad wording but I can't find the right words)

There is also a golden door installed on top of the door, it didn't ring even if strong wind came by but when Cryd touched the door, it chimed and the door automatically opened for him, he entered inside and looked around.

Inside has greatly changed, everything became neatly organized and has this kind of harmony that everything seemed to be in place, the walls and doors also have changed due to the paradox theme, the theme paradox has right now is a forest theme, there were gras on the ground, the walls were trees and the ceiling is a blue sky.

Strangely, Cryd could somehow feel the grass, the smell of the trees and the breeze coming to his face, no, this place didn't seem to be simulated but everything felt real, he then bent to the ground and tried to scoop up some dirt and to his surprise he was able to!

"What?"

Cryd couldn't help but exclaim in surprise.

Cryd then focused on his hand and snapped his fingers and after he snapped his finger a ball of fire appeared on top his finger, it looked so real but the only difference was that it didn't produce any heat and when he put a paper above it, it didn't burn the paper.

Cryd then willed his mind and slowly, the ball of flames started producing heat slowly, he then raised the flames as much as he could that everything around him started to burn and when Cryd once again put the paper on top of it, the paper burned and turned into dust just as the flame latched into it.

Even though it was extremely hot, Cryd didn't feel the temperature, he looked at the ground beneath him and the grass has already burned, 10 meters around him was now a burned ground.

Cryd then waved his hand and the flames disappeared, after that, he stepped forward and as he stepped, grass and flowers started to bloom where he stepped and it didn't take long for the burned area around him to turn into a beautiful place once again.

""So I can will everything I want inside the cafe, how about other powers then"

Cryd then pointed his hand on a fallen stick not too far away and it immediately floated towards him and he caught it, he then held the stick and in the next moment, red light came out of the end of the stick and extended until a meter before it stopped.

Cryd waved the stick.

*Bzzzz!

"Yep, I can recreate light saber with a branch"

Cryd sighed before he looked at his other hand and light sparks started to appear around it, he then conjured a mirror in front of him and closed his eyes before a second before opening it once again.

His right eye is pure red with some lines around it, yes, it was a mangekyo sharingan, while his other eye is a glowing purple eye with his pupils shaped like a bird, yes this was a geass,

It seems like the ability he just got is much more overpowered than he had thought, he then tried experimenting with it more.

It seems like as long as he imagined the ability and what it could do, Cryd can easily recreate the ability, though, there are still some restrictions, for example, he couldn't directly create or recreate any abilities that can create a full living being.

And after thinking about it a while, it was quite reasonable, the only thing he knew why the system gave him this power is to protect himself and for the function of the cafe, so he didn't think much about it.

He then snapped his fingers and everything around the first floor returned to its normal look of what it was before, he couldn't possibly let it be as this was a floor for normal people, if they found about this he will be drowned by questions and even might get the eyes of some greedy people so for safety, he left the 1st floor like this.

Now for the second floor, it has the same theme as the 2nd floor, due to the expansion by the system, Cryd can see that there are some shops that has been added, one is Ichiraku Ramen, then Baratie, and lastly, Anteiku.

These 3 shops were the newly added stores and Cryd found that the shops looked exactly the same as it was in the anime, he nodded before changing the theme of the second floor to a somewhat more fitting theme which is of course, an open field and a sky full of stars.

After he was done with the second floor, he made his way to the 3rd floor that isn't empty, it now has 20 Vr pods neatly spread out and on top of the Vr pods were huge screens, probably for some players to watch the player playing, these VR pods looked more advanced than the ones on the second floor and when he looked at their specs, yes, this VR pods might be the most advanced VR pods in the world and not just by a hundred years.

Cryd also found a small open bar at the corner, it has a cabinet full of different kind of beverages, he then noticed the door just behind the bar and on the other side of the bar is a kitchen, the fridge is full of ingredients and it also has complete utensils, there is also an open office just beside the bar which has a high end computer and some more things.

All in all, Cryd knew this space is made for him because as the owner of the cafe, he could actually do all he can but this space might have been given to him since he will be interacting a lot with the otherworlders.

Cryd was satisfied with it, even though he didn't ask for it, the system still provided it for him, he then waved his hand and a floating blue panel appeared in front of him.

"Receive rewards"

*Ding~

[Received 10x Task Finisher]

Cryd excitedly said, and in the next moment, white light started to form in front of him, there were 10 of them but he noticed something strange, and that was they were small, only reaching his waist, due to them still being enveloped by lights, he couldn't see them clearly but his wait didn't last long as finally with the sound of.

*Beep~

Wearing spacesuits in different color and has floating hands with no arms and two legs, the ten of them lined up in front of Cryd and stared at him.

Cryd was speechless and wasn;t able to react until a few minutes later.

"Among us!?"

He couldn't help but exclaim loudly as he saw their appearance, he now understood why they were called Task Finishers, simply, like the among us game, they will do their task with no error and fortunately, there is no impostor among them… or is it?

Anyway, to make these guys move, Cryd has to write their tasks on a tablet and how long they must do it, according to the system, these guys has mastered a lot of skills to finish their task so no matter what he throws at them, they will finish it flawlessly, one more thing about them is that they don't get tired or hungry.

They also have an illusion that makes them look like a normal person in front of normal people but to other worlders, their appearance doesn't change, Cryd sighed in relief after knowing these were reliable 'friends' who will help him in this place.

Atleast, the risk of being discovered by his workers is gone, Cryd then decided to give each of them tasks, and to not confuse them, he decided to name them by their colors, after giving each of them their tasks, they immediately went on their way.

Cryd noticed a yellow walk pass him and jumped at the vent, his eyes couldn't help but narrow as he saw this, but he ignored it as he heard his next reward had been given.
