While my sister was still processing the fact that I'm a magician of the first true magic, now I have a question of my own and thought. 'Didn't I just leave for a few seconds? It shouldn't be possible for Ai and Lorelei to have a conversation about the moonlit world, as it would take a few minutes at most…'
Time should have stopped when I went inside the shop, and knowing that it didn't cause me to have a bit of concern, however, it didn't take me a long time to figure out what happened and thought. 'Wait? Is it because of me traveling in another world using the shop door?'
If that's the case then everything made sense, because technically I wasn't in the stop at that time but in another world entirely.
Realizing that blunter I made, I couldn't help but feel how lucky I was knowing that it only took a few minutes that passed here and not days or worse years!
It definitely would cause chaos, no doubt, fortunately, time moves slower here than in Celestine's world.
I stayed there for almost a day and only a few minutes had passed, and it was the average time of someone who finished their business in the toilet.
I was really lucky that they didn't notice my disappearance, it made me smile knowing how close I was being exposed.
…Wait a minute, why was I trying to hide the fact that I have this ridiculously overpowered shop, to begin with?
It wasn't like I'm scared of any magi, especially since I'm a magician, in fact, wouldn't it be better for me to say that I have this kind of shop?
I really do need to refresh my perspective on this matter, is this the downside of being a magus? Being secretive and all?
In fact, exposing the shop to the world would only get me more profits, not to mention it's also better than waiting for new customers to arrive.
Finally, my sister snapped out of it. "I-i can't believe it…my brother is a magician first and Root is a female.."
I couldn't just stop myself from correcting her. "Technically a female, it doesn't have a gender, Lorelei."
Lorelei stared at me, entirely ignoring my previous words. "How did you even become a magician? As far as I know, you aren't close to perfecting your craft, as I did with mine.."
I could hear her disbelief from here, however, I can't really deny her as I never had a specialized craft, I'm more of a jack of all trades, I knew magecraft from all five elements, but I never mastered them, but my mastery in magecraft is nowhere near my sister's, that's why Lorelei is surprised the fact I managed to obtain magic before she did.
After thinking for a moment, I decided to be honest, with all the revelations one or two, it wouldn't matter…right?
"That's because I didn't, if you think I have a secret specialization in magecraft, I don't. The reason why I managed to obtain the First True Magic is that I used the 'backdoor',"
Lorelei's eyes narrowed in confusion, as she has no idea what this 'backdoor' is, such a word is unfamiliar to the moonlit world, as there is no shortcut in perfecting your craft.
"And what do you mean by that?" Lorelei frowned, deeply thinking about what I mentioned.
"Before I answer that question, I mentioned before that I have an encounter with an alien goddess right?"
Well, 'encounter' is a bit of an understatement, try having a sexual relationship with that said alien goddess.
But I don't need to say that out loud especially when my ex is here. It is rude and not to mention saying that in front of the children to the kids who may or may not understand that I have a sexual relationship with another female than their mother isn't exactly a good idea.
Knowing exactly what I meant, Lorelei scowled and answered. "I do, if I recall you're quite proud of mentioning that."
I couldn't help myself but laugh awkwardly at that, but hey can you really blame me for bragging about banging a goddess?
Something like that only happens in stories, legends, and myths.
Either way, it wasn't going to be the subject of today's conversation, as amusing as it may be.
"Anyway, it has to do with that alien goddess why I managed to obtain the first true magic, she opened a way to get me directly to the Root without alerting the Counter Guardian or Alaya." That feat isn't just anyone could do, it speaks of how powerful D truly is.
Hearing that, not only Lorelei was in shock but also Shirou, I can't blame them for reacting like that. After all, to hear an alien capable of opening a doorway to Root isn't normal.
It never is, even ORT or Type-Moon isn't capable of doing the same feat, that's why to hear an alien capable of doing such a feat is a very scary thought in the minds of magi.
Because if ORT and Type-Moon beings that could wipe out humanity as a whole if given a chance, can't replicate the feat that this certain alien goddess can do, makes them question how powerful she is?
Even though they weren't sure of the answer, it caused them to shiver in the spine.
Lorelei looked like someone who saw the most horrific being in existence, to say that she was pale was an understatement.
I didn't know she was capable of making such an expression, so I shifted my attention toward Shirou whose expression was unusually serious.
Ai, however, was confused as to why they were acting like it's the end of the world. I can't really blame her for not understanding, since she just learned about the moonlit world today.
The children however were astonished by the fact that an alien goddess existed.
"Guys, calm down your acting like it's the end of the world or something." Honestly, it might as well be the end of the world for them, knowing that there's an alien that is capable of doing just that on the loose.
"Calm down? I just heard that there's an alien goddess on the loose, capable of wiping out humanity any time of the day and you expect me to calm down?!" Lorelei exclaimed.
Another surprise, I never saw my sister this agitated before, but hey there's a first time for everything.
Shirou didn't say anything, but the fact that he remained that way, speaks that he agrees with Lorelei's words.
"Yes, because when that happens there's nothing you could do," I replied with a serious expression on my face, no matter how powerful Lorelei is, and even with all the mage association supporting her, it is nothing compared to D.
Lorelei gritted her teeth at my honest reply, she can whine and argue all she wants but my statement is nothing but the truth.
She's smart and knew that what I said was the truth, but her pride wouldn't just let her admit that.
It took Lorelei a full minute Lorelei to calm her emotions and said with a weary tone. "So you're giving up..?"
I titled my head and replied a bit confused. "No?"
"Huh? But you just said-"
Before she could finish the sentence I interrupted her. "You misunderstood, just because I mentioned that there's nothing 'you' could do when she decided to wipe out humanity, it doesn't mean 'I' can't do anything about it."
If that ever happened, which I doubt it would, I would do anything to prevent that from happening, because there's no way I'd allow that to happen, I've grown attached to this world, as shitty it may be, it's my home.
I have friends and family here, that's why I won't allow humanity to be wiped out, the same with the planet.
Hearing my words, Lorelei could only gape in my direction, it was honestly amusing to see her reaction because it's very rare for her to drop her mask entirely.
Lorelei tried to say something about my statement, however, she couldn't find the words to, because now that she knows that I'm a magician of the first true magic, it wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that I'm the most powerful mage in the modern era, dethroning her.
In the end, Lorelei closed her eyes and let out a sigh. "I see…"
"Trust me with this matter, Lorelei, because I won't let that situation happen." I stared into both my sister's and Shirou's eyes.
Lorelei could only nod and replied with a slight smile. "I take my words back that you're a failure of a magus, the fact that you reached the root despite how unusual it is, you are more than that, a magician. With my authority as the Vice Director of the Clocktower, you are to receive the rank of Grand, would you accept this honor that only few could have?"
I smiled at her and answered. "No."

A/N: ORT can wipe humanity anytime of the day, it is a widely known fact, however, it is also inactive, only the world's cry could wake it up, but it isn't the same as D, as she's active and could end humanity anytime.
But I doubt that she'd do it anyway.
