Tan Rou walked out of the principal's office and the first person she encountered was Tan Jing. It wasn't surprising to run into her because aside from meal times, Tan Jing spent every moment of every day watching Tan Rou, almost as if she wished she could set up a high-definition telescope inside Tan Rou's house in the hope of digging up some dirt on her.
"Tan Rou, the principal didn't scold you, right?" Tan Jing asked with feigned concern.
"The principal gave me a severe scolding and is going to expel me. Are you happy now?" Tan Rou deliberately told her, letting her feel joy for a few more minutes because soon enough she wouldn't be able to smile anymore.
As expected, upon hearing this, Tan Jing couldn't stop grinning. Whether it was true or not didn't matter; as long as Tan Rou was expelled, it would confirm Tan Rou's guilt and become an indelible stain on her reputation, one she could never wash away.
