"Jax asked me and I straightaway told him a big 'NO'!"

She let out and Jax shrugged it off saying that she was no fun.

"Well, at least I m not dumb to ride like that."

Emily spat out and stormed back inside with a sass. Jax excused himself, welcoming both to join in.

When they all left, and the party was still full-blown inside, she asked it him.

"So it was all a bet huh?"

"Adella, listen to me!"

He ran after her as she limped, being out of his hold.

She did not stop. She knew that something was off about this all. Maybe she should have listened to her gut.

"You can't deny that you had fun out there...we had fun."

He yelled, not caring that they were creating a scene as the others watched over.

He held onto her arm, stopping her and she turned around pushing him away from her but he came back.

"It was their idea...not mine, not yours."

"Does that matter?"

He did not hold back to question her back. It was not supposed to go the way it was unfolding.

She had just got back from Philly and was looking forward to seeing him, being back with him again. Those six months were torture.

"Do you even hear yourself right now? You sound so possessive. And it's repelling, to be honest."

She did not expect him to let such words out to her even as tears rolled down her eyes and onto her cheeks.

Looking at her state in that moment, made him calm down real quick. His words came out so rough and rude.

If anybody was allowed to ridicule him or boast about his time being theirs...it was only her.

Only she was allowed that privilege. There was nothing repelling about it. It was, after all, Adella and not anyone else.

"The least you could do was tell me about it before."

Before he could apologize and console her, she spat it out and ran up straight without bothering to check the street and got knocked off by the car from the other end.

"Adella!"

He screamed as she fell onto the other side.

"The police! Roll out, guys!!"

Others hollered out the place as they got out of there, and the police came out from the patrolling van, helping Della up.

He saw them run out and Jax called out to him for a quick escape. He had no idea that they were doing some illegal shits in here and thought it was some teens gathering party without the alcohol and other things.

But with Della being held and helped by the police, he could never leave her alone and ran straight up to her, getting detained by the cops on the way.

"Let me go! I m with her. She is hurt."

He struggled as the officer held him back and the other cops infiltrated the place. Folks running out in all directions trying to escape.

"Boy! You stay still till your parents get here."

Listening to that made him go still all in a damn second. He could not let his parents find out that he had sneaked out of the house so late, without their knowledge.

He was a good son, always obedient, and knowing that it would taint his golden reputation, what caused him more to be cautious was the fact that even Bethany would be informed too.

That did not sound right. His mother would console his father but what about Beth?

She always had a thing against him hanging out with her daughter ever since they grew up, and complaints started to come up from school.

"Hey! You alright?"

He asked as he got close to her. She was sitting on the bumper with first aid being attended to her.

She did not speak out to him at first and just gave a plain nod, without even looking at him.

They looked over only a minimal number of folks being caught and detained by the cops.

What a disaster!

Surely their first school party got ruined and it was not what they were wondering it to be when Jax had invited them in.

"They will be calling our parents."

And that was the deal breaker, making her face him right away. She had not known about it.

Her mother was going to chain her to the bedpost!

"It's all on you!"

She was quick to put the blame stickers all over him and shockingly enough, he was not coming up with anything to stop her.

"Miss, are you alright?"

"Oh for umpteenth time! I'm so absolutely fine!"

She blasted off at the officer who came back again to make sure she was fine after being hit by their petrol.

"Fine then. May we know your parent's number?"

The next question made her alter right away. The wrath transformed into fear as she looked at him.

"She is with me. You want my mom's or dad's?"

He stood up and spoke. She did not have to ask for help. He knew when she needed it.

After giving the number, they both sat together waiting for them to show up anytime.

As the black Mercedes pulled out and one of the officers, came back to them, others were busy dealing with the rest.

"For God's sake! Mom was not supposed to bring in Dad!"

He shook his head as his parents came out of the vehicle, looking out for him. He hesitantly waved his hand and they ran in their direction.

"Kian Randall and Tinsley Randall?"

"Yes! That is us."

His mother answered as the police struck out the names on the notepad.

"I will deal with you later."

Kian snapped at him and asked the officer if he could take his unruly kids back home.

"You were supposed to come alone."

He nagged at his mother. Kian heard it.

"I m not letting my wife drive out this late alone."

They all started to walk out and were about to get inside the Mercedes when the red Chevrolet pulled out and in came a furious Beth.

Della looked over at Shawn and him to his mother. He had only given his parent's numbers, not Beth's.

"I called her in on the way. I thought the cops would need Della's mother too."

Tinsley let out and the rest of the evening had turned more sour if not all of it was already a nightmare.
