The sales assistant had an ugly expression on her face. She had never seen such an arrogant person before. She looked at Olivia with disdain.
The crowd not far away was whispering amongst themselves.
"Isn't this Mr. Brian's wife? She's out shopping, why didn't she bring any attendants along?"
"That's right. After the scandal with Mr. Robert, I reckon Mr. Brian must still be angry. But to be honest, the eldest daughter of the Smith family, Laura, and Mr. Brian are really a match made in heaven. I feel really envious of them."
"Look at how she's dressed, you can tell she's not favored at home. How embarrassing for the Ford family. She's quite good-looking, but her judgment is bad."
They were all slandering Olivia, but she was already used to it. Her impression of Brian plummeted. She had originally thought that there was something important, but to think she came out to be humiliated.
