The next day, Sir Jiego and I drove to the company ready to tell everyone the news. Or to confirm it, since everyone already suspects. I won’t tell you I had a good morning or so, simply because I didn’t have any sleep last night. The idea of being the CEO’s girlfriend still gives me the chills. The good chills, that is. However, I don’t have any idea to be one.
According to Sir Jiego, even the people in the house should be convinced. The secret of this being false should not be shared to anyone in the manor as well. That only meant one thing. I have to act 24/7. There’s no escaping or resting from this, as it turns out.
“Here we are. Another day…” – The car parked at its usual spot, I waited until Sir Jiego got out of the car first and opened the door to my side.
“Thank you, sir.”
He assisted me out.
“Wait… You have to stop calling me sir.”
“Oh. You’re right… What do I call you then?”
“My name? or something else… You know, like love.”
