The first thought that came through my head was to hug her. And i didn't stop myself. I did.
I held her in a bone-crushing embrace when she said that one word I know would be the start of the rest of my life.
Everyone around us cheered, and with it, the fireworks popped in the background. They were in all colors and forms with the words, “Make me the happiest man in the world, Tina.”
And then I realized I didn’t really stick to the plan. There was a little shift as I was too nervous on what to say. Unlike the rest of the evening, the words for the engagement was spontaneous. And I was caught off-guard.
“Good show, huh?” – Tina whispered as she hugged me.
