Mr President’s Substitute Wife

When Sophia Anderson flees her own wedding, her sister Willow is unexpectedly thrust into the role of her substitute bride, turning Willow’s already tumultuous life into a waking nightmare. Three years later, Sophia reemerges, supported by the family, to reclaim her position as Alejandro’s wife, leaving Willow cast aside and forgotten. “What about the night we shared? Didn’t it mean anything to you?” Willow asked, her voice shaky, terrified of his response and yet knew his response will finalize it all. Alejandro scoffed, eyebrows raised like he couldn’t believe his ears. "The night we shared was utterly insignificant, Willow. It meant nothing to me. Don't delude yourself into thinking it held any importance.” He spat out without hesitation. Alejandro looks at her dead in the eye, "Sign the divorce papers, Willow and leave. I don’t ever want to see your face around here anymore.”

Chapter 12

Mr. President, substitute bride~

Willow steps out of the room, her phone in her hands, the last message still showing on the screen. A smile lies on her lips as she trudges down the stairs. Willow pauses, looking around but she doesn't hear a thing. It's been two days since the dinner with the holdings, and she hasn't seen Felicia and Amanda since then. She wonders what happened to them and is certain Alejandro knows, but she would rather not start a conversation with him. He has been rather quiet and out of her business for the past two days.

Willow walks to the open kitchen. She has an appointment to catch soon, and since she hasn't eaten properly, it's better she has something to eat soon.

She takes out a sliced bread from the cabinet and a jar of jam. She begins to apply the jam on the bread while humming quietly, a smile on her face, the message she received early in the morning still attached to her mind.
