Mr CEO wants a baby

Working in a brothel, there are so many rules to follow. Like, don’t let your clients go without a hundred percent assurance they’d come back or never let a client leave without their legs shaking as they do. But there was one that was unspoken of yet carried as much as weight as all of the other rules combined; NEVER FALL IN LOVE. Elena Brashford did just that and more. Falling in love wasn’t the problem as long as nobody finds out but for how long would she be able to hide the baby bump that keeps growing daily? It didn’t take long before she was kicked out of the brothel, penniless, betrayed and bittered. Morgan Stark is a billionaire who has had his fill of women in all shapes and sizes. To him, they are a distraction, a tool for destruction and he’d rather not have any for more than 24 hours in his bed. Until he realizes he’d have to leave his property to someone or roll in his grave as the man he hated gets to inherit all that Morgan has worked for. And so it begins; for Morgan, the search of a child to call his own and inherit his wealth and for Elena, the search for a good life for herself and the child she carries. When they meet at first, it’s a disaster. The second time, it’s with a force of attraction and the third, Morgan would do anything to get the child from Elena’s unwilling hands and maybe in the process, get her too.

The surprise visitor

" Morgan!!! " the lawyer called out very angry.

During the five years he had served Morgan and played the role of a father, he never really scolded or talked to him in this manner, but it seemed Morgan didn't care at all.

" You let the woman go! " He paced around the room with no idea coming to his mind.

Morgan smiled and sat up " relax there is no need to panic " he grinned.

" Oh, I see, so you think there is no need to panic? You screwed up everything, " the lawyer lamented.

" What was I supposed to do, tell me ? She refused to let go of her child or even accept the money. She insulted me! " Morgan vents out his anger.

" Could you just keep your pride behind and think about the future. You need a baby, your inheritor, so all your hard work doesn't go to waste. " he explains.

" There are other women in the city, let me try out other options. To hell with her and the baby " Morgan spat angrily, the lawyer just kept looking at him.

" Fine, do as you please, but do come back with a positive result "

" I am the boss, no one tells me what to do, now please I have important work, if you don't mind " Morgan raised his brows indicating he didn't want to talk further about it.

" Alright, hope to see you soon, " he smiled.

" Sure " he smirked.

Morgan waited until he heard the door close.

He huffed and returned to the multiple files on his table, he hadn't been regular at work and there were just so many documents to either approve or sign.

Morgan dropped his pen and relaxed back on his executive chair.

He pondered on what the lawyer had said earlier. How could he let his efforts go to another pocket ?

The thoughts of his brother came to his mind and he quickly brushed it away.

There was no way he would let that scandal take away what rightfully belonged to him.

He recalled how his brother and father had treated his mother in the past and shook his head, this wasn't what he should be thinking about, he had disowned his brother and vowed never to forgive him for deciding to follow in their father's footsteps.

Morgan later learnt that his brother was flirty around and wasting the little money he had. That was none of his business and he didn't even know why he thought so much about that rascal, he was no use to him but at the same time, Morgan needed to secure an heir to his properties.

" Elena " he muttered, a sharp vision of the lady came racing through his memory. The way she talked to him and turned down the offer abruptly.

His eyes burning with flames and anger " how dare she even think of turning down his offer ? " He smirked. Gently rubbing his beard.

Elena had been giving him irrelevant headaches. For some reasons, he wanted the baby from Elena and not any other random child. He just couldn't tell why he had an attraction to the foetus that was still growing inside her.

" I want that baby, and I will get it at all possible cost ! " He concluded in his mind.

Just then he heard a gentle knock on the door.

" Mr Morgan, may I ? " The voice called.

He huffed " come in ".

He was soon surprised to see the woman standing next to the door.

" Hannah. " he muttered with a satisfactory smile.

She screamed " Surprise !!! " getting even closer.

Morgan was very delighted to see her, he stood up immediately and ran into the lady's arm.

Holding on tightly, he said "Sh*t, you know I don't like surprises".

"Silly, aren't you?" She stroked his cheeks slightly.

"Say whatever you want, you are here now." He smirked.

Hannah rolled her eyes and settled down on the chair.

As much as Morgan was excited to see her, he also wanted to know what the matter was that had caused her to pay him a surprise visit.

Hannah was the daughter of Madam Cole, the French man's wife. Madam Cole was a big part of Morgan's life. He could never call those who stood by him without mentioning her first. He remembered vividly when they had picked him up from the streets and made him part of their family.

Though not all members of the family accepted him with a whole heart, Hannah was there for him.

She taught him how to read and write some words even though he was 2 years above her in age. He felt so attached to the family and often kept in touch with them after he left to start up his own life. Hannah often visited him in the past before she travelled out of the country and he moved to his recent Mansion. She was like the sister he never had and would stop at nothing to make her happy.

" How was the trip to America?" He asked, scratching his head.

" Morgan, that was a year ago! '' she rolled her eyes and sneered at him.

" I see," he smirked.

Hannah pulled off her sunglasses, " how are you? ".

He smiled and sat down on his seat " the same old way".

" You do look good. I'm impressive" she pointed out.

" You are looking better. " He complimented her.

" In that case, I should be glad the city's most handsome and wealthy bachelor said I looked good."

She soon bursted into laughter and Morgan shakes his head.

" How about we go to a fansy restaurant and talk better " he suggested.

" Does it matter if I say yes or no? I know you don't take no as an answer " she chuckled.

Morgan laughed " Now can we go? ".

" Sure, " she nodded.

Hannah stares at him as he quickly shuts down the system on his table.

She bit her lips and smiled.

Up until now, she had managed to suppress her feelings but not anymore.

" All set! " Morgan huffed, grabbing his keys.
