Too Much

Genevieve stepped out of the bathroom clad in a bathrobe, with a towel in her hand to dry her wet hair. She looked around the room and spotted Rhett on the other side, holding his phone to his ear, which meant he was on a call.

As soon as his green eyes caught sight of her, he said something into the phone and hung up. He made his way toward her with a teasing smirk on his face.

"How was your bath, Eve?" he asked.

She rolled her eyes and didn't bother answering him. He clearly wasn't going to listen to her warning. She had told him not to call her that, but it seemed like this big man before her was deaf.

"There," he pointed at a shopping bag she hadn't noticed on the couch. "I got someone to get you those clothes. Put them on and meet me outside," he said, and turned to leave.
