After acting like she was in deep thought, Genevieve raised her head and smiled sweetly at her father.
"If you think this is for my good father…that whatever you're planning is for the good of your daughter then…," Mr. Roman was shaking his head in excitement, he should have known playing this card was going to work.
"Then why don't you get Amelia to marry our oh-so-great Mr Calhoun instead." She smirked at the end.
Mr Roman's face fell at her words and instead of feeling excited like he was earlier, all he could feel was anger flaming through his body.
"Genevieve!" He yelled, his eyes red as he glared at the stubborn-headed lady before him.
At times he wonders where he went wrong with her, was it when he accepted her and made sure all her necessities were provided for her or when he spoiled her too much?
"What father?" She asked and shrugged, acting all innocent like she didn't know what she just said.
