Mild interest

It was around midday that Sayid allowed the group to have a break by a small watering hole so that the horses could drink some water and rest a bit. 

Kaoma, wanting some privacy away from the men, wandered a little further upstream but within shouting distance should anything go wrong and she needed assistance.

Nothing unusual happened and she returned to wait patiently where the horses were choosing to sit on the thick roots of a large oak tree. 

Sayid, Maxixe and Aster went off a few feet to hold a private conversation that the rest of the group was not privy to.

Aster was probably filling them in on what happened with the injured men since so much had transpired he didn't get to give a detailed accounting earlier.

Standing next to the Alpha and the Prince, Aster looked pretty small in comparison even though it wasn't about body size and more about presence.
