"Hey..." Kaori said to Ash, as she and the half-demon had breakfast the next day. "Does Keiko seem... Off to you?"

It was just a little past 8 in the morning, currently. The rest of the group was out and about, with Metsumi having said that she needed to buy some groceries and everyone else tagging along with her to buy them. This left just Ash and Kaori back home as they'd been the last ones to wake up, but they didn't really mind too much.

"Kinda," Ash replied. "What do you mean, though?"

"I don't know... She seems distant."

"Since when?"

"A little while? I might just be imagining things but... Yeah."

"Hm... Moments like these, I really do wish I had more experience with this sort of thing," Ash lamented. "Maybe that's why you're seeing, like, signs of it or whatever and I'm not."
