Moon's Embrace

EXCERPT: A letter to Moon Moriarty… "Just like the kingdom where I was given another life, you came and gave me another ray of hope. If you are reading this letter, then I must be long gone from this world, but I want you to know I am still with you. I left a flower in your hands. Please water it and help it grow and spring out in a beautiful way. I hope you will be reminded of me whenever you see her. I want you to train her not in the way we know of, but in the way we would have wanted to live. Help her live a royal life but do not involve her in royalty, for there lies the evil things we may never know of. I know you went to create a world we could live in peacefully and in love, and now, our daughter will be the one to enjoy most of it. Also, I would love if you can take a trip to where we first met. There, I will be waiting for you. In my next life, I will choose you all over again and by then, I hope we meet in different circumstances. I love you. Till we meet again." __Genevieve This is a heart-wrenching tale of sacrifice, resilience and bittersweet romance. This is my WSA 2024 Entry. Support this book with your votes, reviews and comments.

You are...not just a tutor

Maidservant Ann took a lantern and carried it by the rod as she went out of the house. She had been too careful not to alert anyone that she was heading out. As she walked in the lonely path where there were trees at both sides, the cool wind blew in her direction and she gritted her teeth inside.

She was heading to the tutor's quarters. After what Eve had told her and what she heard from Mina, she realized that she hasn't really given a thought about the tutor, starting from the first day she saw him and how he requested to walk with the princess. Then from knowing that it was Eve who pretended to be the princess and yet, he still taught her and didn't get angry about it or report the issue. That was all fine, until he started to relate with Eve to the point of taking her out of the palace.
